Olivia Wilde's Kids Think Ellen DeGeneres Is Their Real Mom For The Best Reason 😂

Olivia Wilde's Kids Think Ellen DeGeneres Is Their Real Mom For The Best Reason 😂

Olivia Wilde's stopped by the The Ellen DeGeneresShow to discuss a certain photo and how that portrait led to her children, Daisy Josephine and Otis Alexander, to think DeGeneres is their real Mommy. Confused? You won't be.

It seems DeGeneres gave Wilde and her husband Jason Sudeikis a gag gift six years ago in the form of an enormous photo of the talk show host in a yellow bikini. Years later Wilde took a photo of herself on her bed with her dog on Instagram for National Dog Day and lo and behold, there was Ellen in the background. Apparently the bikini shot has had a permanent place above the couples bed.

Cut to a bit later and Wilde says they have since moved the portrayed to right outside their children's bedrooms, so that Ellen is the first face they see each morning. Leading Wilde to joke:

Now it has another very special place: outside the children's bedrooms, so it's the first thing that they see when they wake up. They say, 'Uh, that's our real mother.' And I say, 'Yes.'

You can watch the hysterical exchange below.
