Wow.

After the tragic shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High in Parkland, Florida last year, students from the school founded a nonprofit advocacy organization and developed the instrument of hope.

The instrument is a trumpet constructed from bullet casings, and it's been touring the country since its creation.

Its latest stop was at the Broadway revival of Oklahoma!, where the production's musical director—Nathan Koci—played a version of "Out of My Dreams" after the show's matinee.

Watch the moving performance below:

The tribute touched many of the people who viewed it.

Thanks to Oklahoma! and the activists from Parkland for reminding us to remain hopeful.
