Good work.

Days after revelations that President Donald Trump pressured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate one of Trump's 2020 opponents, former Vice President Joe Biden, the news of Trump's corruption keeps getting worse. The Washington Post confirmed with two senior officials that Trump withheld nearly $400 million in government aid to Ukraine only days before the call in which he told Zelensky eight times to investigate Biden.

Trump hasn't denied the allegations either. Instead, he's attempted to justify them, insisting he has every right to withhold money from a country that might be "corrupt."

But Democratic lawmakers aren't buying it—and they're now calling for his impeachment in droves.

Yesterday, seven freshman Democratic members of Congress—Reps. Gil Cisneros (CA), Jason Crow (CO), Chrissy Houlahan (PA), Elaine Luria (VA), Mikie Sherrill (NJ), Elissa Slotkin (MI), and Abigail Spanberger (VA)—came out in support for Trump's impeachment in a Washington Post op-ed.

The piece reads in part:

If these allegations are true, we believe these actions represent an impeachable offense. We do not arrive at this conclusion lightly, and we call on our colleagues in Congress to consider the use of all congressional authorities available to us, including the power of “inherent contempt” and impeachment hearings, to address these new allegations, find the truth and protect our national security."

And it wasn't just these seven Democrats who came out in support of impeachment on Monday night. Other Democratic lawmakers made the announcement on Twitter.

Even House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who's been adamant on resisting an impeachment inquiry until there's an airtight case, appears to be showing some movement on the issue in light of these new allegations.

Many think that the hypothetical impeachment floated since Trump's inauguration is about to get very, very real.

Gird your loins.

MAGA Senator Slammed After Scolding Americans For Whining About High Gas Prices Amid Iran War—And Wow

Kansas Republican Senator Roger Marshall chastised Americans for complaining about high gas prices and insisted they should consider that their "national security is even more important" than whatever blows are being dealt to their wallets at the gas pump.

Consumer prices are up 3.3% compared to a year ago, largely fueled by a surge in energy costs. The energy index jumped 10.9% in a single month as oil and gas prices climbed sharply. Amid the Iran war and the U.S. blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, oil has risen back to around $100 a barrel, pushing gasoline prices up by a record 25%.

A lot is going on in our world right now that gives us pause, and some of us might feel our hearts breaking under the weight of all of it. That makes acts of kindness, no matter how small they are, more important than ever before.

X user @oatmilkanie shouted out an unidentified child who clearly got the memo when they boarded a plane and discovered that the child had written a note for the next person to sit in their seat, directly on the paper nausea bag that's snuggled in the seat pocket in front of the passenger's knees.

Woman Creeped All The Way Out After Finding Hidden Door In The Ceiling Of Her Airbnb

A lot of us already cannot sleep well when we're visiting someone else's home or staying in a hotel, because we're uncomfortable in a different bed and maybe even a little creeped out in the unusual space.
