Museums Are Trying To One-Up Each Other With Pictures Of Ducks—And We're Quacking Up 🦆😂

Sometimes Twitter is so pure it melts our hearts, restores our faith in humanity, or simply gives us a welcomed giggle. This week Twitter was all about ducks as we waddled into a feathery war involving museums around the world.

It all started innocently enough when The Museum of English Rural Life called on The British Museum to "give us your best duck" with a tweet.

We never knew we loved ducks so much until this moment.

Well, you know what they say about birds of a feather. Soon it was an all-out battle for the best unsolicited duck pic.

This is getting quackers!

It was just a matter of time before "whose duck is bigger" came into play.

Twitter loved every ducking moment of this battle.

It's time to put up your ducks. This is war!

When a deranged gunman burst into a birthday party being held by the Martinez family in their home, things seemed very bad for all of them. Fortunately, they were saved by a hero: the family dog, who selflessly threw himself against the armed intruder and wrestled him to the ground even after sustaining several bullet injuries.
