Wallen had fans in Indianapolis cheering after breaking an attendance record for his concert's venue—but they were left booing when he mentioned that the record would likely be broken when Swift came to town.

Country music star Morgan Wallen didn't mince words when he addressed fans booing Taylor Swift during his concert in Indianapolis on Friday. The incident occurred after Wallen boasted about his record-breaking attendance at Lucas Oil Stadium, where he performed for two consecutive nights.

In a video shared by TikTok user @tylermayer53, Wallen can be heard expressing gratitude to the crowd for making his back-to-back concerts a historic success:

"They told me right before I walked onstage that this is the single most-attended concert in the history of this building. We’re the first people to do it two nights in a row so thank you for making it possible for me to say that."

The crowd cheered and then Wallen jokingly added:

“Imma say that ’til Taylor Swift comes to town in the fall.”

But when they began booing, Wallen graciously came to Swift's defense:

“We ain’t gotta boo, We ain’t gotta boo. I appreciate that. I know you all got my back though.”

Adding that he would "sing a bunch of songs tonight," Wallen began playing his hit song, "One Day at a Time."

You can watch what happened in the video below.

Many appreciated Wallen's remarks.

Swift is currently on break from her Eras tour, which has set numerous attendance records in cities across the United States and around the world, ahead of the release of her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.

The tour, spanning 24 cities, has been credited with injecting life back into local economies and tourism significantly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic's aftermath.

In a significant financial milestone, Swift's net worth reportedly soared past $1 billion last year. Additionally, her Eras Tour concert film swiftly ascended to become the highest-grossing concert film in the U.S. and Canada, raking in nearly $250 million worldwide within eight weeks of its 13-week run.

Lauren Boebert Casts Doubt On Moon Landing During Wild Interview With Conspiracy Theorist

Colorado Republican Representative Lauren Boebert was criticized after she seemingly agreed with the conspiracy theory that the moon landing was faked in a wide-ranging interview with conservative conspiracy theorist Alex Stein.

The segment began with the duo casting doubt on nuclear weapons—Boebert even joked about needing "tin foil"—and moved into weirder territory when Stein praised Boebert for "vibing" with him on the topic of the moon landing. Conspiracy theorists have long alleged the moon landing was fabricated by NASA in what they claim was an elaborate hoax.
