Former Trump Official Claims 2024 Presidential Front Runners All 'Have Trump as Their Last Name'

Former Trump Official Claims 2024 Presidential Front Runners All 'Have Trump as Their Last Name'
Fox News

Former President Donald Trump has been out of office for over a month, but his dominance in the Republican party is arguably stronger than ever.

The party's adoration of Trump is currently on full display at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) this weekend which will culminate in the release of the convention's straw poll winner—thought by some to be, however undeservedly, the first glimpse at who will be the party's nominee in the next presidential election.

The former President—who's also the convention's keynote speaker—is almost certain to win the straw poll, and according to his former chief of staff Mark Meadows, he likely won't be the only Trump to take a top spot.

Watch below.

Meadows said:

"What we will see on Sunday is we will see the start of planning for the next administration, and I can tell you the people that are at the top of that list, all of them have Trump as their last name."

The adult Trump children relished their roles in the political reality show foisted on the nation by their father. The former President's eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, served as a senior advisor to her father his entire four years in office, speaking to world leaders on his behalf and scrambling to legitimize her father's policies.

In addition to heading up the Trump Organization after his father took the White House, Donald Trump Jr. is frequently on television defending the former President. His Twitter antics have long rivaled even Trump Sr. in their eagerness to troll.

Even beyond Donald Trump, who will be nearly 80 on the next presidential election day, Meadows is right that an unignorable segment of the party wants to see the Trump name become a political dynasty.

Twitter users found the continued embrace of the Trump family within the GOP alarming.

Others found the GOP's worship of the name Trump laughable.

And some were under the impression that at least one Trump would be occupied with legal battles or even incarceration.

It will be years before the country potentially sees a Trump running for the White House again, but the first indication of the family's staying power starts at CPAC.

Official GOP X Account Slammed After Tweeting Homophobic Jab Aimed At Tim Walz
