Fans Are Stunned After Realizing Former Child Star Jonathan Lipnicki Has A Wild Cameo In 'Primetime'

Primetime just released, and viewers are buzzing online about the film's many surprise twists and turns, and as it turns out, reveals.

The psychological crime thriller throws viewers back to the early 2000s reality television series To Catch a Predator, and follows NBC journalist Chris Hansen, played by Robert Pattinson, as he stages situations that are ultimately meant to catch pedophiles and other criminals.

One surprise that really caught viewers off-guard was one of the villains, a pedophile with a particular fondness for whipped cream. The character isn't the most shocking part, but who portrayed him: Jonathan Lipnicki.

Most of the public hasn't seen Lipnicki since he was a rising child star, playing a role in Jerry Maguire and the at-first-reluctant big brother of Stuart Little.

And his first reveal for most viewers was incredibly revealing indeed, as he appeared in front of the camera, fully naked, with the exception of some mindfully placed whipped cream.

Apparently, Lipnicki was prepared for people to be surprised and saw that as the part of being a good actor. He reflected:

"As actors, we pray for dark material and for things we can really sink our teeth into."

"At the end of the day, you have to ask yourself, ‘Am I as courageous an artist as I say I am?’ I had to answer that question, and I was courageous enough to take the plunge."

"When you’re playing someone like this, it’s heavy-handed if you make him a mustache-twirling evil villain."

"You have to ask what would be truthful. Even in the darkest circumstances, there can be strange things that make us laugh uncomfortably."

"I was mindful of how that played into the tone of the scene. Those initial choices from the tape were married to things we discovered along the way and in the moment, and it all became interwoven."

Many people loved Lipnicki's characters when he was a child, and it's fair to say they'd cheer at the idea of his return to the big screen.

While this wasn't what everyone had in mind, it's entertaining, and it's fun to see how he's adapting to much different roles than those he played when he was young.
