The supermodel opened up to the UK's 'Sunday Times' about her lack of a dating life after being single for nearly a decade.

Linda Evangelista revealed she is "not interested" in dating anytime soon, and her honest thoughts on the topic completely resonated with fans on social media.

The supermodel, whose singlehood is nearing a decade, told the UK's Sunday Times:

“I don’t want to sleep with anybody anymore."
“I don’t want to hear somebody breathing.”

Valid.

Evangelista disclosed she doesn't remember the last time she went on a date but does acknowledge it was definitely since "before the CoolSculpting," which she received from August 2015 to February 2016. She said the fat reduction procedure left her "permanently deformed” and "brutally disfigured."

People on social media learning of the supermodel's stance on dating applauded her for blunt honesty.

Evangelista was previously married to the former head of Elite Model Management's Paris office Gérald Marie. The two married in 1987 when she was 22 and Marie was 37. They divorced in 1993.

Recently, Evangelista alleged that Marie physically abused her while they were married. In the Apple TV+ docuseries The Super Models, she discussed the topic, revealing she felt the need to speak out after Marie was accused of rape and sexual assault by at least 15 women in 2021.

She later dated French billionaire François-Henri Pinault from 2005 to 2006. The two share a 17-year-old son, Augustin.

Evangelista isn't the only celebrity content with the single life, either.

In 2019, Diane Keaton revealed she hadn't been on a date in 35 years.

In 2016, Whoopi Goldberg—three times a bride—told New York Magazine she was "not that interested" in getting married again.

“I can spend as much time with somebody as I want to spend, but I’m not looking to be with somebody forever or live with someone."

And who could forget her viral quote:

“I don’t want somebody in my house.”

We totally get it.
