Sometimes imitation isn't flattery, and instead a show of a lack of creativity.

Republican Representative Lauren Boebert of Colorado demonstrated this recently.

The conspiracy theorist politician posed in a dress that bore more than a passing resemblance to one worn by another politician, including a phrase that was unfortunately very familiar.

All to say, none of it was very creative.

Boebert attended an event at the Mar-a-Lago resort last week.

Several photos, including the one above where she posed with former president, Donald Trump, show the back of her red dress says in white lettering "Let's go Brandon."

As far as right-wing memes go, the "Let's Go Brandon" meme is pretty esoteric. It originated from a NASCAR sportscaster mishearing or misquoting a crowd chanting a profane insult at President Joe Biden.

Rather than just say "F*** Joe Biden" like they clearly want to, they instead have taken the misheard phrase as some kind of 'gotcha' against liberals and democrats.

It's a really dumb joke.

On top of that, the dress and phrase were done in a similar style as one worn by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, often just called AOC. At the Met Gala earlier this year, AOC wore a white dress that said in red lettering "Tax the Rich."

Boebert shared her copy of the dress claiming "Let's Go Brandon" is a movement. Though it seems to be mostly a movement of people embarrassing themselves.

Just last week, Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene complained someone stole a sign she posted outside her office with the phrase emblazoned on it. MTG is another right-wing conspiracy theorist who, like Boebert, has expressed the unfounded belief Donald Trump secretly won.

Posting "Let's Go Brandon" may be the best insult they can come up with.

In recent years, prominent right-wing figures have devolved into some game of supposedly "owning the libs," even though some people they attack aren't actually liberal.

A modicum of right-wing celebrity is given to anyone who performs some new stunt they think will upset people on the left, regardless of how successful the act is.

CNN Just Used A Hilarious Poll To Show Just How Unpopular Trump's Ballroom Is—And We're Cackling

After President Donald Trump claimed that his new White House ballroom is "very popular" with the American public, CNN shared a hilariously shady poll that gets to the truth of the matter.

Last year, Trump ordered the demolition of the entire East Wing to make way for a 90,000 square-foot ballroom that will dwarf the size of the White House itself, sparking alarm from historical preservationists and the public alike.

Woman In Labor Times How Long Her Husband Takes To Poop To See If She Can Push Their Baby Out Faster In Hilarious Viral Video

It's well-known across the internet that it takes forever for men to use the restroom. For dads especially, in the time it takes them to poop, when they return to the house, their kids will have aged seven years, and their baby will have learned to walk.

These are jokes, of course, but it's an internet consensus that men spend a really long time on the porcelain throne.

Woman Speaks Out After Prison Sentence To Reveal What Led Her To Hurl Black Paint At Sister-In-Law On Her Wedding Day

In early 2024, 49-year-old Antonia Eastwood married Ashley Monk after about five months of dating. During the ceremony, Antonia tripped while walking down the aisle.

Antonia and Ashley were both suspicious that she did not trip accidentally and that Ashley's sister, Gemma, actually tripped her. Gemma and Antonia were not close, and the couple also believed that Gemma might be jealous that they were marrying after five months, though she'd been with her childhood sweetheart for 20 years without tying the knot.
