If you've been anywhere near social media in the past few weeks, you've likely seen a video of an adorable boy rhapsodizing on the deliciousness of corn on the cob—the sort of thing that is way too pure for this world and just fills your heart with joy.

And naturally, as soon as the video went viral, a group of musicians turned it into a song, "It's Corn," which went even more viral and has been dominating TikTok for weeks.

So much so that it even caught the attention of actor Kevin Bacon. Bacon is also a musician, and he's now done a country-tinged cover of "It's Corn"—in which he even goes so far as to play his guitar with an ear of corn. Perfect.

See the video below.

I can’t imagine a more beautiful thing #itscorn #corn 🌽

Who knew playing a guitar with an ear of corn could be so effective? Kevin Bacon, apparently! Bacon ran through some of the best parts of the original video, including the kid's revelation that when he "tasted it with butter, everything changed." Us too, kid. Us too.

Bacon's cover perfectly follows the original by The Gregory Brothers, also known as Schmoyoho, the masterminds behind the "Chrissy, Wake Up" remix from Stranger Things and the musical version of Antoine Dodson's viral "Bed Intruder" video that was everywhere online in 2010.

There was no way "Corn Kid," as he's been called on TikTok, was ever going to fade from people's collective memory—he's just too sweet and adorable. But as any teacher will tell you, songs make everything stick—and The Gregory Brothers' tune is nothing if not an earworm, so much so that people have nicknamed the app "CornTok."

And now with Bacon's version, we are sure to never forget the little boy's description of corn as "a big lump with knobs" that "has the juice." Which really is the essence of the vegetable if you think about it.

On TikTok, people absolutely loved Bacon's version.

If nothing else, Bacon's cover ensures this viral moment of corn celebration won't be ending any time soon—thank goodness.
