The Marvel star's mom and sister were on hand to help him bathe for the first time since the accident.

Marvel MCU star Jeremy Renner was in a snow plow accident Sunday that left him with chest trauma and orthopedic injuries requiring two surgeries.

Renner spent the last several days in the ICU recovering from his snow plow running over him after he reportedly stopped to talk to a family member stuck in the snow.

Renner is best known for playing Hawkeye in the Avengers, but he's a twice Oscar nominated actor for The Hurt Locker and The Town. His performance in American Hustle also received acolades.

Renner currently stars in Mayor of Kingstown on Paramount+.

But the seriousness of the situation hasn't dampened the star's well-known sense of humor.

On January 5, Renner posted a video to Twitter showing his mother and sister giving him his first bath after the accident. In the post the actor called the experience a "spa day" and thanked his mom and sister for helping him.

They can even be heard joking it is his first bath in weeks as they clean blood from his injuries. The tweet had over 15 million views and over 671 thousand likes as of this writing.

You can see the video here:

Renner has had tremendous support from friends and fans since the accident.

Others joined Renner in humor.

It is still unknown what exactly caused the freak accident, however the scene was cleared of foul play and the plow has been taken in for inspection for possible mechanical failure or defect.
