The former nanny revealed alleged private details about the couple's breakup after Wilde started seeing Harry Styles in a story published by 'The Daily Mail'.

Yesterday, the internet went wild after reading accusations made by the nanny of former couple Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde.

In case you missed it, the nanny - whose identity is unknown - spilled to The Daily Mail, claiming that she was witness to some intense situations during her three years with the family.

Ted Lasso actor Jason Sudeikis and Don't Worry Darling actor and director Olivia Wilde were together nearly 10 years - engaged for 7 - before ending their relationship in 2020. They have two children together, Otis, 8, and Daisy, 6.

According to their nanny, most of the drama was fueled by Wilde's relationship with fellow Don't Worry Darling actor Harry Styles combined with Sudeikis' drinking. Though Wilde claims the relationship with Styles began after hers and Sudeikis' was over, the nanny claims otherwise.

In one particular escalated argument, supposedly ignited because Wilde made a salad with her 'special dressing' for Styles, the nanny claimed:

"The night she left with her salad, Jason had chased after her, videotaping her in the house."
"She was saying, 'Jason, I'm scared of you.' And he said, 'If you're scared of me, why are you leaving your kids with me?"
"So then Jason went outside and lay under her car so she wouldn't leave. She got in her car to back up, he lay under her car so she wouldn't leave."
"She went back into the house, and he went in, it was back and forth. He said he was doing it on purpose to make her late going to see Harry."

In response, Sudeikis and Wilde have united to release a joint statement:

"As parents, it is incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous accusations about us publicly."
"Her now 18 month long campaign of harassing us, as well as loved ones, close friends and colleagues, has reached its unfortunate apex."

The statement ended:

"We will continue to focus on raising and protecting our children with the sincere hope that she will now choose to leave our family alone."

Many have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on the situation, some observing that there must be at least some truth to the claims if Sudeikis and Wilde actually came together to release a joint statement.

Support for the nanny also flooded in, citing that nannies are often stuck in the middle of messy relationship drama.

But what the people really want to know...is what's in the salad dressing?

All kidding aside, though, we do hope that the statement brings some peace and puts and end to the harassment so that Sudeikis and Wilde can focus on raising their children.

Late-night hosts Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert were each other's guests in a special crossover event on Tuesday and took the opportunity to call out "son of a b*tch" President Donald Trump, who has used his influence in attempts to silence them for criticizing him and his MAGA movement on the air.

Last week, ABC announced it would end its suspension of Jimmy Kimmel Live! just a week after Trump pushed to get host Jimmy Kimmel off the air following comments Kimmel made about the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk. ABC had had internal discussions with Disney, which saw a wave of subscriber cancellations in the wake of Kimmel's suspension.
