Apparently If You Blended All Humans Into One Giant 'Goo' Ball It Would Be Shockingly Small—And That's Enough Internet For Today

If you've ever wondered what the entire world's population would look like if they were blended together into one ginormous ball of goo, you're in luck.

Twitter user @_AstroErika thought she would enlighten the internet with this bizarro factoid by posting an image of what this slimy mass of earth's humans would look like.

The suggested size of the gooey mass is not at all what you might expect.

But then, what were you expecting, really?

Erika captioned the image with:

“If you blended all 7.88 billion ppl on Earth into a fine goo (density of a human=985 kg/m3, average human body mass=62 kg), you would end up with a sphere of human goo just under 1 km wide."

For a sense of scale, she plopped the People Orb into a popular New York setting.

“This is a visualization of how that would look like in Central Park.”

Are you ready for it?

At 843 acres, Central Park is the fifth-largest urban park in New York City.

Considering the earth's population numbering at over 7 billion people, the slimy orb represented in the digital mockup doesn't even eclipse the grandness that is Central Park.

Erika quipped in a follow-up tweet, "P.s. You are in this photo...."

People at a loss for words responded accordingly.

People made wisecracks about the photo op.

Skeptics challenged Erika.

So far, the tweet has racked up over 72K likes.

By the way, did you say, "cheese?"
