Fans of the rapper who bought his new Yeezy Pod shoes a few months back for $200 are fuming after he announced on Instagram that he'd be slashing the price to just $20.

Kanye West has stirred up social media with a post-album-release Instagram spree, following the success of his highly anticipated "Vultures" drop.

The album, featuring nine tracks and a collaboration with his daughter North West, has become a fan favorite. Ye's online extravaganza ranged from sharing the full "Talking/Once Again" music video to donning an Alexander McQueen Jesus mask at the Super Bowl.

Amid the digital fanfare, a contentious move riled fans. Ye posted a snippet from an interview with the caption "YEEZY.COM EVERYTHING $20 AS PROMISED." The online shop boasts a variety of items, including Yeezy Pods, Vultures merch, and Bianca Censori's infamous "WET" top.

While some eagerly rushed to snatch up these bargains, others, who shelled out $200 for Yeezy Pods a few months back, felt a sting of betrayal.

The online outcry quickly spilled over to social media, where a wave of memes captured the sentiments of fans who couldn't help but feel a bit played by the sudden price drop.

Even the Ye fan accounts got in on the meme-ing.

Some people were very supportive of Ye's price drop.

Many admitted that his numbers after the price drop were impressive.

Even worse, said some people who had paid the full price.

Customers betrayed by the massive price drop can apparently get a $180 refund.

One person saw the larger picture in the price cut: sneaker culture is ridiculous.

Ye's new album took the #1 spot on Spotify on February 11th, as the artist later shared.

Trump Bizarrely Clashes With Reporter Over Photoshopped 'Tattoo' On Abrego Garcia's Knuckles

President Donald Trump sparked criticism after claiming during an interview with ABC News’ Terry Moran that an edited photo depicting tattoos of wrongly-deported Maryland father Kilmar Abrego Garcia showed that he has an alleged connection to the MS-13 gang.

Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran national who arrived in the U.S. in 2012, was labeled a threat in 2019 due to an alleged connection to MS-13. He spent months in detention before an immigration judge found he had a credible fear of persecution—not from MS-13, but from a rival group, Barrio 18, which he said had been extorting his family.

Leavitt Lashes Out At Amazon Over 'Hostile' Plan To Display Added Tariff Costs For Products On Website

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt lashed out at Amazon over news that the commerce giant planned to display increased "import charges" on items on their Amazon Haul website, essentially showing to customers the extra money they'd have to shell out as a result of President Donald Trump's tariffs.

Trump has escalated a growing trade war by imposing tariffs of up to 145% on Chinese imports, prompting China to retaliate with its own 125% tariffs on American goods. Additionally, the U.S. has slapped a 10% tax on imports from most other countries, while temporarily suspending higher rates for several nations for 90 days.
