The comedian sparked a bizarre feud with Tom Hanks' son after explaining to SXSW attendees how Hanks 'broke' the crew of his long-running Adult Swim series 'The Eric Andre Show.'

Eric André sat down with Rolling Stoneat SXSW this week to talk about the latest season of his Adult Swim series The Eric Andre Show, among other things, of course.

During the interview, a whip-it-induced André praised rapper Lil Nas X, calling him "the ideal guest" while dropping nuggets of info about some upcoming episodes. On the other end of the spectrum, however, André revealed that he would "never work with... lunatic" Chet Hanks ever again.

André went as far as to say that in the 11 years the show has been running, the son of Tom Hanks was the worst guest he's ever had.

He explained:

"Chet Hanks was a tough cookie. He broke our crew."

He continued, "It felt like Rust," referring to the chaotic and tense working conditions on the set of the film in which Alec Baldwin shot and killed the cinematographer after safety procedures were not implemented with fidelity.

André continued:

"He broke us down."

When asked why the host felt that way, he replied:

"He is... emotionally disturbed."
"He stole a motorcycle and rode it around. He almost knocked a bunch of grips and gaffers off their ladders."
"It was very dangerous. He tried to prank us back, but we edited out all his bullsh*t!"
"He's not well. How did Colin Hanks come out so good and Chet Hanks come out so bad?"

Needless to say, André's comments fueled an online war, and Hanks didn't hold back on his thoughts, either.

In a now-expired Instagram story, Hanks addressed the Rolling Stone interview, admitting yes, he "popped a little wheelie" but was only wanting to match the energy of the "outlandish" show. Hanks explained that he watched episodes of André's show after being invited. He also revealed that he "rides dirt bikes," and they "must not have known."

Hanks also said:

"There's a lot of f**king weirdos in Hollywood, but I didn't think you were one of them."
"I thought you were funny and cool, but turns out you're just a p*ssy."

People on Twitter took sides.

Some sided with Hanks, claiming they've never heard anything negative about him until now, not to mention The Eric Andre Show is "outlandish."

Others are siding with André, noting that Hanks' behavior must have been awful for him to be called out like that... by André nonetheless.

Of course, some are just loving the drama.

Per a follow-up piece by Rolling Stone, Hanks said in another Instagram story:

"I was just playing along with your schtick, dude."
"But it is what it is. Some people are just straight b*tches."
"Apparently Eric André is one."

In response to Hanks' rants, André claimed, also in an Instagram story per Rolling Stone:

"He's a f**king liar."
"And I dare him to take a f**king DNA test and prove that Tom Hanks is his f**king father."

Next, on Maury...

Trump Gets U.S. Military Troops To Boo Democrats And 'Fake News' During Alarming Speech

Members of the military stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, erupted in boos when President Donald Trump goaded them during a speech in which he attacked former President Joe Biden, California Governor Gavin Newsom, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, and the "fake news" covering the ongoing protests in L.A. in response to the Trump administration's immigration raids.

The military has a longstanding tradition of remaining nonpartisan so it was striking that those in attendance, many of whom wore military fatigues, booed in the first place.
