Karen Vladeck drew some heavy inspiration from Swift's song titles and lyrics to craft the note to her daughter's first grade teacher.

Sometimes, once-in-a-lifetime chances are more important than school and you have to take the risk of a hit to your education.

Or your child's education.

That is what award-winning Austin-based lawyer Karen Vladeck did when she wrote her daughter a leave-of-absence note to her daughter's 1st grade teacher. You see, Vladeck and her daughter had scored the impossible to get tickets to Taylor Swift's Eras Tour.

Vladeck shared the note on Twitter.

In the note, Vladeck makes a ton of references to Swift songs hoping the teacher was also a fan of Taylor Swift.

Luckily the teacher was also a Swiftie—as fans of Taylor Swift call themselves—and the note made her "ENTIRE DAY."

Vladeck's husband's response was less warm, however.

Other people's reactions were more like the teacher's.

For example, many other Swiftie teachers said they would have been delighted with the note.

Many Swifties in the comments got in on the game of references to Swift's songs.

Other parents wrote in with examples of events they took their kids too after requesting leave-of-absences.

Finally, other people commented on the difference between the teacher's reaction and Vladeck's husband's response.

Here's hoping both mother and daughter have a great time at the concert.

Single MAGA Women Complain That D.C.'s Conservative Dating Scene Lacks 'Masculine' Men—And We're Cackling

Social media users pounced with jokes after MAGA women spoke to the Washington Post and the New York Times about the lack of "masculine" men in Washington, D.C., which is hilarious for a party pretty much obsessed with the way "real men" act.

The notion that masculinity is being attacked–namely by the left wing–is a popular one among Republicans such as Missouri Senator Josh Hawley, who once accused "the Left" of hurting "the future of the American man" and went on to claim the "deconstruction of America begins with and depends on the deconstruction of American men."

Woman Caught Giddily Knocking Down Neighborhood Halloween Decorations On Security Camera Sparks Outrage

Halloween, a time for treats, tricks and...knocking over other people's lawn decor?

Maybe that last one is more unique, but it is the experience of Californian Tonyia Sampognaro and the witches on her front lawn this year. In a series of videos captured by Sampognaro's Ring cam and then later made public, a jogging woman stopped after running by the decor, then doubled back and punched the life-size witches on the lawn.

Katy Perry Blasted For Destroying Elaborate Birthday Cake Without Ever Tasting It—And Points Were Made

We all know the feeling of working hard to pick out the perfect gift for a loved one, only for that person to not appreciate all of our effort.

Once we give a gift, the recipient is free to do whatever they want with it, though that doesn't remove the sting of dismissiveness and disrespect.
