An entire neighborhood in Grayson County north of Dallas gathered on their front lawns and waved goodbye to a couple who was being hauled off to jail after allegedly wreaking havoc in the community.

A video of the sendoff went viral on social media.

TikToker Jessika Dykeee posted the clip summarizing what happened and captioned it with:

"Bye bye.. 👋🏽 charges : assault on a peace officer, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest. husband : deadly misconduct, resisting arrest."

The video also was featured on the Trashy subReddit and was titled, "Satisfying end to a couple."

At the beginning of the clip, a pearl-colored Mini Cooper was seen blaring its horn and speeding down the street for no apparent reason.

The superimposed caption for the video read:

"So my parents' neighborhood has been harassed by these two individuals. So I called the law on her."
"And the whole gang pulled up to watch the show."

The footage zoomed in to show the couple being confronted by a responding officer who was trying to give them a citation.

"She wouldn't take the ticket and assaulted the police officer...and littered," continued the narration. "But the cop got it to her anyways."

The TikToker alleged the officer came back with a "warrant on both of them."

The clip showed that, after being pulled over, the woman refused to comply with the officer while her male partner was on the phone. "She would not get on the ground for him..all while the husband called their 'lawyer,'" said the voiceover.

"The sheriff pulled up for backup, and the husband ran…but was caught."

After the couple was taken to jail in the police vehicle, the TikToker finished the story with:

"So we all [waved] goodby to them as they rode away."

The closing shot of the footage showed the Mini Cooper being towed away.

TikTokers got a kick out of seeing the couple get the public boot from the community.

Aside from the honking, details of the couple's alleged harassment were unclear. Yet their behavior on the video offered a glimpse into why they may not have been enthusiastically embraced by the community.
