Reddit user MidnightMoonSecret asked: 'What’s the most ridiculous reason someone got mad at you?'

You never know what will set someone off. Some people are powder kegs, just waiting to ignite.

And some people—toddlers especially—lack the emotional regulation or coping skills to deal with day to day life. It's often funny when it's a 2-year-old—less so with a 22-year-old.

We probably all have a story of a time someone got angry at us and we could only scratch our heads and wonder what just happened.

Reddit user MidnightMoonSecret asked:

"What’s the most ridiculous reason someone got mad at you?"

Read All The Print

"My parents asked me to sign a contract. I'm 37."

"I said I won't sign before I know what I'm getting myself into. It was around 30 pages, and I wasn't really given time to read it."

"They got angry."

"They refused to tell me what it's about, which is why I refused to sign it."

"Happened twice, first time about 5 years ago and second time about 3 years ago."

"My mother convinced me to give her new hairdresser a try because she was just starting out and needed customers. She scratched my ears with her comb a few times and I asked her to please be careful."

"I even apologized for my elf ears—they stick out. She got huffy, so I decided I never wanted to see this person again, paid, tipped, and left."

"Ten years later, yes, TEN YEARS LATER, I somehow came up in conversation—my mother was still seeing her—and the hairdresser brought up how upset she was at me for not 'letting it go' because she was just starting out, and I should have been more forgiving."

"She then asked if I managed to marry rich and then bragged about how she recently lost $30k in the stock market and 'didn’t even care'. She then asked, 'Can your daughter say that about herself?'."

"All because I asked her to please stop scraping her comb over my ears! Ten years ago!"

Cheating Is OK, Finding Out Isn't

"So I finally told her that I knew. And I wanted there to be no secrets."

"She left me for 'violating her privacy'. Who cares about violating the sanctity of our marriage right?? Said stuff like, 'As of this moment, I'm done. And YOU did this!! I want you to know we are over and YOU did it!'."

"She was having dirty conversations in front of my security cameras that I had used to catch her in a lie before."

"We were together for 12 years, five kids, a house."

~ mrgoodnight2

"A boyfriend cheated on me once and I found out—among other ways—by reading his diary because I had strong suspicions but no proof, and he always denied everything.

"I asked a male friend for advice, and he said 'Well, *you* Violated His Privacy by reading his diary', as if it was a wrong that cancelled out my boyfriend's wrong or something."

"Turned out later that my friend was also a cheater."

"This happens to be at the same time all the parents are at the bus stop.

"Anyway, we did not go back to the park that day."
