Trump Just Tried To Claim That He Hasn't Touched His Face In Weeks Amid Coronavirus Concerns—And Twitter Was Like 'Hold My Beer'

The novel coronavirus is now a global worry, with California even declaring a state of emergency after its first death connected to the disease.

Donald Trump's CDC has been taking efforts to keep the public safe from the virus. One of their most common pieces of advice is to avoid touching one's own face.

President Donald Trump, in an interview with reporters, told them he's been taking that advice very seriously. But Twitter quickly proved that is not the case.

Many pictures quickly emerged of Trump touching his face within the last few days.

And it's not just Trump...many other White House officials connected to the coronavirus response have also been touching their faces.

Even later in the same meeting where Trump said he never touches his face...he touched his face.

Some online stood up for the President, saying he had been making a joke.

But others felt the real joke were to be made at Trump's expense.

It's hard to tell what's a joke and what's a lie when Trump is constantly bending the truth.

Either way, do what Donald Trump can't and avoid touching your face! That will help us all halt the spread of coronavirus.
