Supercut Of Fox News Calling Democrats 'Sore Losers' In 2018 For Not Accepting Election Results Is Hypocrisy At Its Finest

Supercut Of Fox News Calling Democrats 'Sore Losers' In 2018 For Not Accepting Election Results Is Hypocrisy At Its Finest
Fox News; Fox News

This past Saturday, major news outlets announced that President-elect Joe Biden was projected to win the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania and its 20 electoral votes, eliminating President Donald Trump's paths to reelection.

After a months-long smear campaign against the integrity of the United States election, President Donald Trump is refusing to concede, with his team falsely claiming that widespread voter fraud tipped the election to Biden.

Trump has predictably been tweeting his own lies about the election and its outcome—tweets which have been repeatedly flagged by Twitter as false.

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany—in yet another violation of the Hatch Act—appeared with Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel, where she lied that Democrats were hell-bent on welcoming fraud in order to win an election.

McEnany said:

"This election is not over. Far from it. We have only begun the process of obtaining an accurate, honest vote count."

Trump's campaign would have to overturn nearly 200 thousand ballots—around 186 times more ballots than the conservative Heritage Foundation confirmed to be fraudulent throughout decades of elections—to put Trump on track to win the election.

The election is over.

Nevertheless, Trump's allies continue to claim the opposite. With practically zero chance of overturning the election, the inevitable outcome seems to be eroding trust in the democratic process and delegitimizing a Biden presidency among Trump's supporters.

In the midst of this stunt, The Daily Show issued a supercut of Trump allies like McEnany and far-right Fox News host Laura Ingraham chastising Democrats for supposedly not accepting the results of the 2018 midterms.

Watch below.

McEnany says in the video:

"Democrats are being sore losers. They refuse to acknowledge they lost the election, so what do they do? They cry 'malfeasance, criminality, fraud.'"

The video cuts to Laura Ingraham, saying:

"Democrats moreso than Republicans seem to have a problem conceding defeat ... Either the election system broke down or some mystery votes are hiding somewhere."

Similar sentiments played from Republican former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Fox News hosts Greg Guttfeld and Jeanine Pirro, as well as others.

The supercut laid bare the Republican hypocrisy.

People couldn't get enough of the damning video.

Despite Trump's efforts, President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris are expected to take the Oath of Office on January 20th.

Jesse Watters Ripped Live On Air After His Overtly Sexist Rant About Hillary Clinton's Place In History

Even Fox News personality Jesse Watters' own colleagues pushed back after he dismissed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as just a "female" who will be a "footnote" in history following her remarks that former President Joe Biden's reelection bid was a "terrible mistake" for the Democrats.

Clinton argued that Biden's first significant error was deciding to seek a second term after initially presenting himself as a bridge to a new generation of Democratic leadership.

Fox News Just Told The Truth About Why Iran Is So 'Eager' To Sign Onto Trump's New 'Deal'

In an unexpected twist for Rupert Murdoch's Fox News, nepo-baby White House correspondent Peter Doocy called out MAGA Republican President Donald Trump's deal to end the war he and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel provoked with Iran and reopen the Strait of Hormuz that was closed because of their actions.

The son of Fox News veteran Steve Doocy spoke to Fox News host Will Cain on Tuesday from Geneva, Switzerland, where Trump was attending the G7 Summit. Cain asked Doocy if he could hear what Trump said, to which he replied that he could and that he agreed with Trump's assertion that he's "very rich."
