A Christian College Just Took Censoring Nudity In Textbooks To A Whole New Level

A Christian College Just Took Censoring Nudity In Textbooks To A Whole New Level

Just about every college student has to take some art class and some art includes nudes.

But the censorship of that art at one Christian college seems to go a bit overboard.

Pensacola Christian College website says its art students are:

"equipped to share Christ through the visual arts, music, or dramatic performance."

However one student is sharing the images from his art text book, and the censorship is... well, see for yourself.

The students are encouraged to gain a biblically supported understanding of the arts during their art history courses. Students in these classes would learn about the lives and works of Van Gogh, Dali, Davinci among many others.

Most hardcore religiously-minded people tend to deny history. This college seemed to take censorship a bit too seriously.

It isn't the Taliban bombing statues extreme, but its pretty far out there.

Someone was given the task to go through the art text books and draw over all the iconic butts, boobs and genitals deemed too risque for the students and teachers of the prudish art department.

While the results are amusing for us, it is sad for the students whose world views are tragically narrowed by the church's attempt to maintain their ideological "purity."

Pensacola Christian College, founded in 1974, is located in Pensacola, Florida. According to the school, their goals is to:

"train young men and women in higher education for a life of service to Jesus Christ," [and to] "promote the cause of Christ by providing a distinctively Christian-traditional, liberal arts education that develops students spiritually, intellectually, morally, culturally, and socially."

The original images were posted to Imgur and received a bunch of comments from all across the board.

SendMeNoots said:

"They for real censored the Mona Lisa? Christ there's nothing shown in the original. It's the tiniest cleavage line possible."

SgtDefaultGN added:

"Say it with me now, nudity is not pornography."

Posts even popped up on Twitter about the censorship.

This had to be one of the better suggestions:

For those who can't, the rest of us should enjoy all the uncensored art we can.

MAGA Rep. Ripped For Changing Story About Why He Sleeps In His DC Office To Fit Trump Agenda

Tennessee Republican Representative Tim Burchett was criticized for claiming that he "lives" in his office because of crime in Washington, D.C., even though he gave a completely different reason earlier this year to explain how he maintains productivity.

Burchett's remarks came as President Donald Trump federalized the Metropolitan Police and deployed about 800 National Guard troops to the nation’s capital this week while claiming crime in D.C. is "out of control" despite falling crime rates.

Sorbo gripes about Vikings cheerleaders

American actor and sudden cheerleading morality police Kevin Sorbo appeared to spontaneously combust online when the Minnesota Vikings announced the addition of two male cheerleaders to their 2025 squad.

Born in Mound, Minnesota, Sorbo has long cultivated his brand of brawny, bicep-flexing alpha male heroics—playing Hercules in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Captain Dylan Hunt in Andromeda, and starring in the 2008 parody Meet the Spartans, where he famously shared an on-screen kiss with Sean Maguire’s King Leonidas.
