Chris Cuomo Puzzles Twitter After Posting Photo Of His Bicep In Response To Troll's Insult

CNN anchor Chris Cuomo just managed to bewilder a sizable chunk of the Twittersphere with his bizarrely intimate response to an online troll.

The online spat began when Cuomo, the younger brother of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, lost his cool over an insult that's ruffled his feathers in the past: someone called him "Fredo," a reference to the weakest younger brother in classic Italian mob film The Godfather.

Apparently that term seriously gets under Cuomo's skin. What else would explain his decision to get into the weeds and respond to a random Twitter troll?

Cuomo benefited from some online support after his first response to the provocation. Someone weighed in to steer the focus back to Cuomo's service as a reporter.

For a second, it was looking like things were back on the rails.

But alas, another troll was coming in hot.

In an apparent attempt to shutdown the ongoing troll-fest, Cuomo opted to take out his camera and share a photo that hovers somewhere between a celebration and a threat.

People were utterly puzzled by the Emmy-winner's decision to flash his bicep.

Cuomo, however, was not finished. He also had some colorful responses to those criticisms. It must have been a very slow news day.

Here's hoping Cuomo's day job stays busy enough to keep spats like this a rare thing.
