After the January 6 insurrection, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie commented on President Donald Trump's conduct, saying:

"If inciting insurrection isn't impeachable, I don't know what is."

Trump would go on to finish his term in office in disgrace, the first President since George H.W. Bush to be voted out after his first term and the first President in history to be impeached twice.

Meanwhile, Trump's handling of the pandemic has been widely criticized as actively harmful to the health of Americans, likely adding tens of thousands of casualties to the U.S. death count.

But sometime between Trump's removal from office and now, Christie seems to have had a change of heart.

During a recent appearance on Fox News, Christie told Sean Hannity he would give Trump an "A" grade for his time in office.

Twitter couldn't believe Christie would give Trump an "A" after everything that has happened.

Many Republican politicians, following the January 6 insurrection, returned to supporting Trump after realizing how many Republicans still remain devoted diehard fans.

Christie was dragged online for his hypocrisy.

Referring to the January 6 insurrection in the Hannity appearance, Christie said:

"The fact of the matter is that there were some things that happened specifically at the end of the presidency that I think had some things that clouded his accomplishments, and that's why we as a party need to emphasize the issues you just talked about."

Christie also told Hannity he's considering a presidential run in 2024, saying he "would not make my decision based on anyone else who's running."

For many, it's a good thing Chris Christie isn't a teacher.

His grading process leaves a lot to be desired.
