Purdy was asked at a recent press conference about a tweet comparing him to JFK assassin Lee Harvey Oswald—and his unimpressed reaction says it all.

Brock Purdy, once a lesser-known player but currently geared up to play in the upcoming Super Bowl for the San Francisco 49ers, was lobbed an oddball question at a recent media event.

Recently, a tweet from a Chiefs fan comparing Purdy to Lee Harvey Oswald, a historical figure linked to the Kennedy assassination, went viral. During a presser in Las Vegas, Purdy was asked about the likeness. He seemed a bit puzzled but politely disagreed with the idea.

Despite the strange question, Purdy handled it well, showing that he wasn't letting the unexpected attention get to him as he prepared for the big game.

People were put off by what an odd question it was.

Folks couldn't fathom why someone would be nonplussed at being compared to a famous alleged assassin.

Some commenters took the opportunity to fantasize about hypothetical responses.

Folks were fed up with a general theme of nonsensical and "useless" questions at media events for football pressers.

Many people lamented the absolute waste of an opportunity.

Really, people agreed that Purdy's response was the only way to reply that didn't include expletives.

It's been a long two weeks between games, folks noted. Time to hit the field and avoid more of these asinine questions.

The Super Bowl is set to draw fans worldwide, with excitement building for the clash between the 49ers and the Chiefs.
