Taking a well-deserved break from all the press surrounding her recent bombshell conservatorship hearing, Britney Spears jetted off to Maui, Hawaii for some sunny, beachside rest and relaxation with her boyfriend, Sam Ashgari.

But according to a recent post on the pop star's Instagram page, the couple's time away has been invaded by a common nuisance she's been dealing with for decades now—the paparazzi.

In her description of the annoyance, Britney pulled no punches.

"So being here in Maui is pretty crazy now … the paps know where I am and it's really not fun !!!!"
"It's pretty hard going anywhere cause these silly faces keep popping up to take my picture 📸🙄 … but not only do they take my picture … they distort my body and mess with the image and it's embarrassing 😬😳🙃 !!!!!"
"I know my body is not perfect but I definitely do NOT look like how they portray me. It's rude and it's mean so paps kindly FU** YOU AND FU** OFF 💋💋💋 !!!!"

And on top of that very clear caption, the post included a video with some "Dos and Donts" for the paparazzi and fans all set to "Fu** You," by Lily Allen.

People who came across the post were outraged on the star's behalf.

Others, however, were skeptical.

They pointed to the fact her conservatorship, aside from forcing her to relinquish financial and legal control of her life, also forced her to lose control of her social media.

So who made the post and were they acting in her best interests?

Whoever drew up the Instagram post, it's a clear reminder of just how inescapable Spears' nearly lifelong relationship with fame is.
