Boebert Dragged For Claiming Men Should Be 'Terrified' After $83 Million Judgment Against Trump

The MAGA Rep. warned that the jury's $83 million ruling against Trump in his E. Jean Carroll defamation case sets a 'terrifying' precedent for 'men in this country.'

Colorado Representative Lauren Boebert made a bizarre claim about how men should be "terrified" following the $83.3 million judgment against former Republican President Donald Trump for defaming advice columnist E. Jean Carroll, whom he sexually assaulted.

In May 2023, a New York jury found that Trump was liable for sexually assaulting and defaming Carroll after she filed a federal lawsuit against him and awarded Trump to pay her $5 million.

On Friday, January 26, 2024, a second defamation trial concluded with the anonymous nine-person jury awarding Carroll $18.3 million in compensatory damages and $65 million in punitive damages.

Boebert took to X (formerly Twitter) and expressed her dismay.

"An $83,000,000 j[udgment] given to a woman who can’t even tell you the date or time she encountered President Trump."
"The precedent this sets for men in this country is [absolutely] terrifying."

The distressed conspiracy theorist continued:

"It is truly unbelievable how weaponized our system of 'justice' has become."

Social media users thought Boebert's statement making the defamation case about gender was rich considering her ex-husband's history of sexual misconduct.

Users also pointed to Boebert's own public misconduct for which she was forcibly ejected from a musical performance of Beetlejuice after being caught groping her boyfriend in a theater packed with family audiences.

Users were confounded as to why anyone would willfully support a former President who is embroiled in several legal battles, remains a perpetual liar, and is notorious for an excessive amount of allegations, many of which are tied to instances of misconduct and sexual assault.

In addition to being a staunch Trump ally who supported his false claims of a stolen 2020 election, the gun-toting, self-described Christian Congresswoman is a vocal opponent of green energy, pandemic mandates, abortion, gender-affirming surgery for minors, and same-sex marriage.

In December, she announced she was switching congressional districts likely to avoid a possible rematch with Democratic challenger Adam Frisch, who was defeated by Boebert by a narrow margin in the 2022 midterm elections.

Frisch announced he was running to unseat Boebert "and restore dignity to #CO03 representation" in November.

Boebert will be running in the crowded Republican primary to succeed retiring GOP Representative Ken Buck in eastern Colorado's 4th congressional district.

Former GOP Senator Gets Brutal Wakeup Call After Criticizing People For Playing 'Candy Crush' Instead Of 'Making Babies'

Ben Sasse represented Nebraska in the United States Senate from 2015 to 2023. As a Midwestern moderate, the sometimes controversial Sasse was often critical of MAGA Republican President Donald Trump on social media and on the Senate floor.

At one point, the Nebraska GOP censured him because of his criticism of Trump. But Sasse, like Maine Republican Senator Susan Collins, would still vote with the majority of his party when his vote was needed to back Trump's agenda.
