Riveting Viral Video Of TikToker Fixing Sister's Disastrous Home Haircut Deserves An Oscar

TikToker @palmview956's video of her 'get unready with me' video gone wrong after her younger sisters found themselves in a sticky situation has been compared to a 'coming of age movie.'

Whether or not we grew up with sisters, we've all heard entertainment's version of sisterhood and the power of family coming together.

But there's nothing quite like testing a family member's loyalty to your well-being by interrupting their "get unready with me" video on TikTok the night before school picture day.

The video, now housed on a family account, starred the oldest sister of the family, Valentina, who began the video by inviting her viewers to get unready with her after a hectic day out. Not too long into the video, though, her younger sister, Magdalena, interrupted her, asking for a pair of scissors.

Other than telling her sister not to "do anything stupid," Valentina gave her the scissors and let her go. That was until a scream came in off-camera.

The "get unready with me" moment was over when Magdalena returned with her sister, Camelia. Camelia had asked her to cut bangs for her, but Magdalena cut them shorter and faster than she expected, which led her to scream.

Knowing they were going to get into trouble, the three girls started to panic, and Valentina urged Magdalena to close her bedroom door while she began to survey the damage done to Camelia's hair and figure out how to fix it.

After looking up how to cut bangs online, arguing with her younger sisters about who's fault this was, and bribing their even younger sister with a cookie to not tell their mom after she barged in to see what the fuss was about, the video was an absolute coming-of-age masterpiece of sisterhood.

The video quickly went viral and garnered millions of views on TikTok, not including the views it accrued on the family's first TikTok account, which got banned when it received 210,000 followers. After reposting the video to the second account, it's already reached 3.9 million views and has gone viral on other social platforms as well.

Viewers loved the cinematic, intimate and urgent nature of the video, showing the drama unfold in an authentic way—and celebrating the power and commitment of big sisters.

TikTok fell in love with the video and actively praised Valentina for helping out her panicked younger sisters.

While the sisters argued and bantered and blamed each other, they still helped each other out—and one little girl had a picture day for the ages.

Ilhan Omar Claps Back Hard After Nancy Mace Tries To Insult Her With Bizarre Post Following Iran Attack

Minnesota Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar clapped back at South Carolina Republican Representative Nancy Mace after Mace attempted to insult her and Michigan Democratic Representative Rashida Tlaib after President Donald Trump ordered an attack on various sites in Iran on Saturday morning that killed Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other top officials.

Omar and Tlaib were the first two Muslim women elected to Congress. Both have faced repeated attacks from members of the Republican Party tied to their religion, including being labeled part of the so-called “Jihad Squad,” a term suggesting they are sympathetic to extremism or seek to impose Islamist rule in the United States.

Pete Hegseth Ripped After Trying To Claim That The U.S. 'Didn't Start This War' With Iran

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was criticized after he claimed that the U.S. "didn't start this war" with Iran—just days after the Trump administration authorized an attack on various sites in Iran with the joint efforts of Israel over the weekend.

The war against Iran is already spreading beyond its initial battlefield. Iranian reprisals have struck Gulf states hosting U.S. bases—including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia—while Hezbollah has entered the fight, firing rockets into Israel and ending a month-long ceasefire.

'SNL' Turns Trump Diss About U.S. Women's Olympic Hockey Team On Its Head With Sweet Monologue Moment

Connor Storrie’s debut Saturday Night Live monologue had just about everything: jokes, a childhood throwback, a few perfectly placed Heated Rivalry innuendos, and—because this is apparently the most athletic season in Studio 8H history—both the gold-winning players from the U.S. men’s and women’s Olympic hockey teams.

The appearance came just days after controversy over invitations to the White House and President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address, giving the night an edge that felt bigger than a typical celebrity-cameo parade.
