Biden Caught On Hot Mic Telling Florida Mayor 'No One F**ks With A Biden'—And Twitter Is Cheering

Democratic President Joe Biden was caught swearing on a hot mic while speaking with the mayor of Fort Myers, Florida. His profane slip was largely applauded by the Twitterverse.

Biden was meeting with Fort Myers Mayor Ray Murphy during his second storm-related trip this week, this time to survey the damage caused by Hurricane Ian which resulted in more than $50 billion in damages and at least 130 deaths between Cuba, Florida and North Carolina.

Biden had met with Murphy and other local officials and residents, participating in a joint news conference with Ron DeSantis, Florida's Republican Governor. He apparently jived with Murphy so much at one point he uttered the following profanity:

"No one f**ks with a Biden."

You can hear what Biden said in the video below.

Murphy later told Yahoo! News he found Biden's remark rather endearing.

“It was not directed at anybody. It was just two guys talking."
“It didn’t faze me one bit. That’s just the way two guys talk to each other from our respective backgrounds.”

Murphy noted he and Biden "familiarized ourselves with each other" which was "great" because he wants Fort Myers to remain visible as the area continues its recovery efforts in the days since the storm, which struck Florida as a Category 4 hurricane.

While he could not remember what it was he said that made Biden "drop the bomb," he said it made Biden more relatable.

“We’re both Irish Catholics. We’re both devout Catholics. But every once in a while a little salty language comes out."

Biden's remark quickly went viral and social media users ate it up.

Biden's remarks came after DeSantis praised the federal government for its cooperation in "cutting through the red tape, and that's from local government, state government all the way up to the President."

Biden extended the federal emergency relief he first enacted before the storm by 30 days.

He has also authorized federal assistance to be available for 60 days as Florida begins to rebuild following the deadly hurricane.

NFL Responds To Claims They're Replacing Bad Bunny With George Strait Due To MAGA Outrage

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell pushed back against calls from MAGA fans who've circulated a petition demanding that the NFL replace Bad Bunny as the Super Bowl halftime show performer with country singer George Strait.

The petition urges the NFL to have Strait perform at the show, arguing that it’s “pivotal to remember the roots that have made American music what it is today.” The petition contends that Bad Bunny does not meet those supposed criteria, even though he is an American citizen.

Joe Biden's Emotional Bell Ring

Former President Joe Biden has long been an advocate for cancer research, from the tragic death of his son, Joseph “Beau” Biden, who died of brain cancer in 2015, to his founding and later revival of the Cancer Moonshot Initiative, aimed at advancing vaccine-based immunotherapies against cancer.

During his remarks on reestablishing the Cancer Moonshot in 2022, Biden urged Americans to remain hopeful:
