Mayim Bialik Says 'Call Me Kat' Cast Learned Of Leslie Jordan's Death While 'Waiting For Him' On Set

The actor and 'Jeopardy!' host opened up about her co-star's tragic car accident death on 'The Jennifer Hudson Show.'

In an interview on the Jennifer Hudson Show, Mayim Bialik—star of the show Call Me Kat—said the cast and crew of the show learned of Leslie Jordan's passing last October while they were all waiting for the late actor to arrive to start filming a scene.

Bialik said:


"We were all very close, and people knew Leslie Jordan as Leslie Jordan, not necessarily just as the character he played on our show."
"He's been in people's lives, especially during COVID."
"He was in people's Instagram feeds..."
"A lot of people really formed a real connection with him, and he loved that."
"He loved being approachable. He loved being loved."
