It's common knowledge grief does weird things to us and we all process it differently.

But this is also true of good news.

We expect everyone to celebrate in the same way. When they don't, we start asking why and can make assumptions based on our own experiences.

Hannah—@hannah.j.c16 on TikTok—experienced this when she shared her assigned gender reveal.

She was bombarded with messages about her poor relationship because of her partner's reaction to the news of the assigned gender of their baby.

You can watch the video here:

We’re sooo ready to meet you💙💙 @travisgober

In the video, the couple revealed the assigned gender of their expected baby in a true-to-them fashion. Hannah pitched a ball to her partner Travis Gober—@travisgober on TikTok—that he swung at with his baseball bat.

Instead of hitting it out of the park, the ball exploded into a blue cloud.

Typically an assigned gender reveal is fun news and the couple will run to each other and embrace or kiss. But in this video, Hannah's partner ran straight past her to his teammates where they came together in a celebratory circle, with Hannah left on the outer edges.

Though the video went viral with more than 3-million likes and more than 61-thousand comments, Hannah was surprised TikTok didn't focus on her reveal, but rather on what happened after.

Unfortunately for the couple, the reactions were overwhelmingly negative.

After the comments poured in, Hannah posted a response video with Travis assuring all was well.

Hannah captioned the video:

"I promise it's okay, y'all. 😂😂"

While this video led to mixed results on the internet, it's important to remember every relationship is different.

Though her partner may have not reacted in the way TikTok wanted him to in order to be deemed "a good partner" and "a good future dad," Hannah argued she was happy with her relationship.

And ultimately, what she says goes in her life, whether she shares part of her life on the internet or not.

AOC Has Mic Drop Response To MAGA Republicans Who Try To Mock 'Democratic Priorities'

New York Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez issued a powerful rebuke against President Donald Trump and the MAGA movement, pointing out why mocking things like affordable housing and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as "Democrat priorities" ultimately hurts Republicans.

Ocasio-Cortez, speaking during a CNN town hall alongside Vermont Independent Senator Bernie Sanders, accused Republicans of refusing to work to end the government shutdown, stressing that the country’s health care system could collapse if Republicans refuse to meet Democrats’ demands in negotiations.

GOP Rep. Blames Coordinated 'Ruse' After Swastika Image Is Seen Displayed In His Office

Ohio Republican Representative Dave Taylor demanded an investigation after a swastika image was found on display in his Washington, D.C., office, and blamed it on a "targeted" "ruse."

Politico obtained a photo from a virtual meeting showing a distorted image of the American flag—its red and white lines altered into the shape of a swastika— pinned to what appears to be a cubicle wall behind Angelo Elia, a staffer for Taylor. Beside it hung a pocket Constitution and a congressional calendar. Elia’s involvement in the incident, if any, remains unclear.
