AOC Just Perfectly Ripped A Republican Strategist Who Said He Fears Public Internet Even More Than Universal Healthcare

AOC Just Perfectly Ripped A Republican Strategist Who Said He Fears Public Internet Even More Than Universal Healthcare

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is known for her social media prowess.

She's doled out almost as many clapbacks as policy proposals.

Thursday was no different when Ocasio-Cortez responded to Republican strategist Patrick Ruffini, who announced that he'd be more distressed by public internet than public healthcare.

It all started when Democratic senator and 2020 presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren proposed forming a federal office of Broadband Access, allowing for every American to have internet.

Ruffini didn't like that too much.

That's when Ocasio-Cortez pointed out the flaws in his logic by asking him about an infamously mundane task.

As many know, Comcast customer service is roundly criticized.

The business has a one star rating on Yelp and a quick twitter search will reveal multiple dissatisfied customers ready to throw their phones at a wall rather than wait on hold for another second.

Ruffini tried to clap back by mentioning a publicly run facility whose customer service also leaves a lot to be desired.

But does the DMV really have people that mad?

The answer appears to be no.

In fact, people thought DMV jokes were a little tired.

Looks like AOC has won the internet again. Republicans, why do you keep poking the bear?
