Since bursting onto the political scene in 2018, Democratic New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has made a name for herself for bluntly and forcefully clapping back at politicians, especially conservative ones.

And when Republican Colorado Representative Lauren Boebert's called for an end to all government benefits at this weekend's CPAC, Ocasio-Cortez shut her all the way down for her ignorant hypocrisy.

Quote-tweeting a video clip of Boebert's speech, seen below, AOC ripped the mask off Boebert's and other conservatives' thinly veiled motives for railing against America's barely-there public safety net.

In her much lauded speech at the recent Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) event, Boebert inveighed against government benefits like welfare and free vaccines.

"We're here to tell government: 'We don't want your benefits. We don't want your welfare, don't come to us with your Fauci ouchie. Leave us the hell alone!"

The hypocrisy was real.

Boebert also seemed unaware of the fact she is the government, but whatever.

Ocasio-Cortez wasn't about to let this speech slide, laying into Boebert for what she called "good ol' conservative values."

"Tell 'em loud and proud girl! GOP will strip your unemployment protections and dismantle any semblance of a public safety net we have left! Then make working people pay way more for everything on low wages while Wall St gets a meal ticket!"

Ocasio-Cortez was kind enough not to point out Boebert's own history with public benefits: The freshman lawmaker has spoken openly and proudly in the past about her rise from a recipient of welfare—you know, one of the programs she wants to destroy—to a member of Congress.

But in response, Boebert didn't show AOC the same restraint, firing off a below-the-belt reply to AOC's tweet.

In it, Boebert derisively called Ocasio-Cortez "Sandy" and mocked her sick grandmother, who, as AOC recently tweeted, is still awaiting the government assistance her tax dollars pay for following Hurricane Maria in 2017.

Ocasio-Cortez was ready with a searing clapback for this, too.

On Twitter, Ocasio-Cortez's takedown of Boebert had people's support.

Ocasio-Cortez has frequently clashed with Boebert, who ran her 2020 congressional campaign in part on a promise to "take on AOC."

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
