TikToker Alarmed After Two Women Hand Her A Mysterious Note While She's On A Date

TikToker @cuteascluck sought advice on the social media platform after two younger women handed her what seemed to be a warning note while she was out on a third date with a man.

Despite having access to a whole world of potential mates right there in our pockets, dating someone who wants to stick around for the long haul is becoming increasingly hard to find.

After going on 21 first dates in 2024, TikToker Lindsay, who goes by @cuteascluck on the platform, would have to agree.

Unfortunately, she already has her first 2025 experience locked in, as well.

After matching with a guy on a dating app, Lindsay thought things were going well. They used FaceTime for their first date, and everything seemed to go well on their second—this time in-person—date.

But their third date at a bar/restaurant went awry thanks to a pair of strangers.

Reflecting on the experience, Lindsay's date seemed to be doing everything a woman would hope a guy would do and was "coming on strong" while expressing his interest in dating her long-term.

But when she came back from the bathroom, the two women sitting at the table next to her got up to leave. One of the women complimented her hair and then handed her a note.

At first, Lindsay's date questioned what was inside, but when she said there were "a lot of words" and that she'd read it later, he let it go.

But Lindsay didn't know what to think and turned to TikTok for advice.

Many could not see the note in the original video, so Lindsay created another, showing it in its entirety.

The note had been written on what appeared to be receipt paper and was folded so the message could not be seen from the outside.

In large handwriting, most of the note read:

"Just no!!!"

In smaller handwriting off to the left side, the writer added:

"You can do better."

Replying to @marylandhouse420 here she is in all her glory!

Some TikTokers admitted that they thought Lindsay had said something affirming originally, like, "Just know that you can do better," but seeing the actual note sealed the deal for them.

Others agreed and stated that the girls were likely warning Lindsay about something.

The saga continued in a third video when Lindsay decided to confront her date about the note.

Prior to asking him about it, he had sent her a series of "drunken sales pitch" text messages, telling her how much it made sense for the two of them to be together and that there was no denying their future together.

This alone made her start to lose interest in the guy as a prospect, but his interactions with her about the note sealed the deal.

He told her that he "didn't remember" the other women at the restaurant and later that he "didn't know" the other women that were there that night and surmised that they must know his ex.

This alarmed Lindsay, as it made her think that he must have been a questionable partner in the past.

Replying to @~♡MimiJulee♡~ #greenscreen I asked him about the note😱😱

Fellow TikTokers reassured Lindsay that there were more than enough red flags here to stop dating the guy.

Lindsay has since ended the relationship because of the note, the "drunken sales pitch" texts, and his dismissal of the women she interacted with when receiving the note.

As much as he felt that they were a guaranteed match, it was clear Lindsay didn't feel the same way—and no amount of "chemistry" or "convincing" will change that.

Karoline Leavitt Ripped After Trying To Sweep Aside Trump's Role In Epstein Files During Press Briefing

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was swiftly criticized after she tried to sweep aside President Donald Trump's role in the Epstein files, urging the press—and by extension the public—to "move on" from the matter.

Trump has done everything he can to dismiss or downplay the outrage surrounding the documents, which are said to contain detailed lists of some of his former friend and associate Jeffrey Epstein's most high-profile clients and enablers. The late disgraced financier was a convicted pedophile and sex trafficker.

JD Vance Slammed After Warning U.S. Olympians Not To 'Pop Off About Politics' During The Olympics

As several Olympians have made headlines in the past week for statements critical of the Trump administration's policies, particularly amid the ongoing nationwide immigration crackdown, JD Vance criticized those Olympians who, as he put it, "pop off about politics."

For instance, freeskier Chloe Kim, the daughter of South Korean immigrants, who has previously addressed how racism has impacted her career, said "it is really important for us to unite and kind of stand up for one another for all that’s going on." Figure skater Amber Glenn also described the current climate in the U.S. as especially difficult for herself and others in the LGBTQ+ community.
