Massive 'Truth' Banner Falls On Ramaswamy At Campaign Event—And The Irony Is Rich

Video of the banner falling onto GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy during his speech at a campaign stop in New Hampshire quickly went viral.

Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy was mocked online after a sign bearing the word "TRUTH" briefly fell over onto him while he was delivering a campaign speech at a stop in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

In video footage shared by New Hampshire news station WMUR, the large "Truth" banner can be seen slowly toppling forward, striking Ramaswamy as he stood in front of it.

Ramaswamy appeared unharmed, and the incident did not disrupt his speech significantly.

You can watch what happened in the video below.

However, it did make him the target of considerable mockery from social media users who called him out for his loose relationship with the...well...truth.

Ramaswamy has played fast and loose with the truth.

Ramaswamy, whose wealth comes from biotech and financial businesses, has previously been called out for referring to himself as a "scientist" who has developed "a number of medicines" even though he only has a biology degree and has never worked as a scientist.

He has aligned himself with the far-right over the course of his campaign by claiming to oppose corporate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) initiatives even though he, through his nonprofit, Roivant Social Ventures (RSV), has promoted health equity and diversity within the biopharma and biotech industries.

Ramaswamy has also come under fire for playing both sides in regard to former President Donald Trump, for whom he has expressed his support despite running against each other for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.

While pledging to pardon Trump in the event he wins the presidential race, Ramaswamy previously condemned him for inciting the Capitol riot of January 6, 2021, a fact he refused to address during a recent interview with MSNBC host Medhi Hasan, who couldn't get him to elaborate on why he'd once referred to Trump's actions as "downright abhorrent."

Fitness Influencer Hit With Backlash After Calling Out Gymgoer For 'Photobombing' Her Workout Video

It's pretty rich when a social media influencer posts a TikTok video, preaching about social etiquette while clearly not embracing those values themselves.

Take TikToker and fitness influencer Jennifer R. Picone, who frequently posts her gym routines, for example. During a recent gym session, Picone demonstrated weighted chest presses and several calisthenic moves, until the video went downhill.
