Woman Is Adamant That Coronavirus Doesn't Exist In Surreal Video Thanks To Trump's Rhetoric

As the Coronavirus continues to spread across the globe, the response of U.S. leadership attracts greater scrutiny.

But a coordinated response to a viral health crisis becomes confusing when a post-truth world has some people confident that the whole thing is entirely made up.

While awaiting a MAGA Rally in North Carolina, some supporters of President Donald Trump were asked to share any concerns they have regarding the Coronavirus, which has undoubtedly come to the United States. So far, the virus has killed 6 people in the U.S. and infected a total of 60 people across 12 states.

One supporter shared that she doesn't believe the virus exists at all.

When an NBC reporter probed further, the supporter's answer was as simple as it was bizarre.

"I don't trust anything the Democrats do. I mean, I just don't believe it."

Her response comes at the 2:57 mark.

Twitter was a bit blown away by the conviction she possessed while disputing a globally acknowledged fact.

This Trump supporter is likely responding to some of President Trump's own rhetoric during a prior rally held days earlier in South Carolina.

The 45th President loudly proclaimed that any concern surrounding the Coronavirus is, indeed a Democratic hoax. While he did not deny the existence of the virus, he did assure it was completely under control.

"Now the Democrats are politicizing the Coronavirus. They're politicizing it."
"This is their new hoax."

Since that rally in South Carolina on Saturday, February 29, 4 additional people have died in the U.S. from the Coronavirus.

Thus, it becomes clear that even a pandemic like this one is not insulated from hyper-partisan takes. Moments like these will likely continue to arise, and the response will be that inner conflict Twitter users know best: horrified shock mixed with complete amusement.

MAGA Influencer Charlie Kirk Called Out After Blaming DEI For High Death Toll In Texas Flooding Disaster

Turning Point USA founder and MAGA influencer Charlie Kirk was harshly criticized after he claimed the death toll in the flash floods that have devastated central Texas "would not have been as high if it wasn't for DEI," ridiculously suggesting that principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion were responsible.

Kirk's comments are reflective of President Donald Trump’s broader push to dismantle federal programs focused on diversity and inclusion—part of what he pledged in his inaugural address would be a campaign to stop attempts to “socially engineer race and gender into every aspect of public and private life.”
