In 2020, Arizona turned blue in a U.S. presidential election for the first time since 1996. Now-President Joe Biden won the state over former President Donald Trump, who'd repeatedly slammed the late Senator John McCain, one of Arizona's most beloved figures.

Subsequently, the state of Arizona became a major target of Trump's lies that the 2020 election was "stolen" from him by Democrats engaging in widespread voter fraud. Trump accused election officials of "finding" enough votes for Biden to win (most people just call this "counting").

In response to Trump's election fantasies, Arizona's conservative legislature forced a partisan "audit" of Maricopa County, Arizona's votes. Biden's victory wasn't only further confirmed, but it actually widened.

Never one to accept reality or defeat, the former President is now demanding the election results be revoked and himself declared the winner—all in the name of supposed election fairness.

The statement read in part:

"Either a new Election should immediately take place or the past Election should be decertified and the Republican candidate declared the winner."

The reasoning for Trump's absurd demand was supposed irregularities in mail-in voting implemented by Democrats to "steal" the election—claims that have long been debunked.

The demand wasn't taken seriously.

Some said Trump's continued fixation on election delusions is bringing down the GOP.

Good luck with that.

Trump Just Claimed He Deserves To Receive 'Reparations' From Taxpayers—And Ted Lieu's Reaction Is All Of Us

California Democratic Representative Ted Lieu spoke out after President Donald Trump criticized the Justice Department's rescission of a proposed $1.8 billion "anti-weaponization" compensation fund for January 6 defendants, saying he ultimately deserves "reparations" after "what they did to me."

Slavery was in fact a brutal legal institution, comprising the enslavement of Black people who were kidnapped from their homes and families and forced to reside in a foreign land where they served as the economic backbone of the American South. Advocates have long sought reparations for descendants of enslaved Black Americans as a result.
