Bush Hager tearfully described Guthrie’s return to Studio 1A:
“Savannah has come back to her home here at 30 Rock in Studio 1A. We got to see her this morning, and in her perfect way, she talked to all of us, hugged every single person in this room, the crew.”
Bush Hager struggled to hold back tears as she spoke about the visit, which came during a difficult period for Guthrie and her family.
The two anchors share a close bond that extends beyond their professional relationship. Bush Hager previously named Guthrie the godmother of her 7-year-old son, Hal Hager, making the reunion particularly meaningful.
She recounted Guthrie’s message about eventually returning to Today:
“She said that she has the intention to return to the show even though it feels like the hardest thing to do. It’s also her home and where she feels so loved. And she is beyond loved here. So we’re happy she’s home. I don’t know when she’s actually returning to the show. But she was here, and that felt so good to get to hug her.”

Guthrie has been a central figure on Today for more than a decade. She has served as co-anchor of the NBC News morning program since July 2012.
Before taking that role, Guthrie joined Today in 2011 as co-host of the 9 a.m. hour alongside Natalie Morales and Al Roker while also serving as NBC News’ chief legal correspondent. She later moved to the main anchor desk after Ann Curry’s departure.
According to People, Guthrie also spoke to the broader Today staff, thanking them for their continued support during the ongoing search for her mother.
She thanked her colleagues and reflected on her faith:
“I wanted you to know that I'm still standing, and I still have hope, and I'm still me. And I don't know what version of me that will be, but it will be. I’m holding onto my faith. I still believe. And as my mom would say, ‘where else would I go?’”
The emotional moment reportedly concluded with a group prayer led by Guthrie’s friend and colleague Dylan Dreyer.
Guthrie also confirmed her intention to return to the anchor desk:
“I have every intention of coming back. I don't know how to come back, but I don't know how not to. You're my family. And, I would like to try.”
Earlier in the week, Guthrie traveled to her mother’s property in Tucson, Arizona, with her sister, Annie Guthrie, and brother-in-law, Tommaso Cioni. The family visited a tribute that neighbors created near Nancy Guthrie’s mailbox.

Nancy Guthrie was last seen entering her garage at approximately 9:50 p.m. on January 31. Family members reported her missing at 12:03 p.m. local time on February 1 after she failed to join friends for a virtual church service.
Authorities continue to investigate the disappearance. On February 24, Savannah Guthrie announced that the family was offering a reward of up to $1 million for information leading to Nancy’s recovery, while the FBI is offering a separate $100,000 reward.
The family has also donated $500,000 to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children as the search continues.
Shenielle Jones shared her thoughts on Guthrie’s return:
“I think we just keep it going. We keep loving her, keep our arms around her. And we’re gonna get her back here.”
Anyone with information about Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance is asked to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) or the Pima County Sheriff’s Department at 520-351-4900.
For now, Guthrie’s colleagues say their focus remains on supporting her as the search for her mother continues.
While reminiscing about The Tailor of Panama, in which Curtis played Radcliffe's mother, Curtis recalled the exact moment when she realized that Daniel Radcliffe would make a wonderful Harry Potter in the upcoming film adaptation.
Most of the children from the film were playing in a pool, while Radcliffe sat on the side watching, because he had a fake tan on for the film. Looking at him, Curtis realized that he bore an incredible resemblance to the cartoon illustration on the original Harry Potter books.
Curtis recalled thinking:
"Wait, you look like that kid who's on the cover of that ['Harry Potter'] book!"
Curtis mentioned this to Radcliffe's mother, who asked her to keep that thought quiet, as a potential offer was already in the works. By that time, Radcliffe had already starred in David Copperfield and was drawing critical attention for his acting skills and for his uncanny resemblance to the illustrated character.
While Curtis clearly enjoyed sharing that story, she wasn't done singing Radcliffe's praises:
"Since then, he's not only done that [fulfilled the 'Harry Potter' role], but now he's doing this work ['Every Brilliant Thing'], this new work."
"He reminds me of Michelle Williams, people who are committed to the art of what they do. She was on 'Dawson's Creek,' and now she's in that fantastic show, 'Dying for Sex.'"
"Daniel's now on Broadway, singing, dancing, doing monologues, and doing something very important."

Radcliffe is currently performing in the interactive one-man show Every Brilliant Thing, and Curtis's latest, Sender, is set to appear in theaters on March 14, 2026, with streaming information to come.
Noem’s removal comes after sharp criticism from both parties over her leadership during Trump’s immigration crackdown, as well as scrutiny surrounding her use of millions in taxpayer funds on videos widely viewed as self-promotional.

People immediately knew what that was referencing—Noem once killed her "untrainable" 14-month-old puppy, Cricket, because she wasn't good at hunting and was too excitable.
Noem laid out the decision to kill the dog in her memoir No Going Back. She wrote that “Cricket was a wirehair pointer, about 14 months old" with an “aggressive personality." She said she "hated" the "untrainable" dog and decided to shoot Cricket after taking her to a gravel pit.
The disturbing anecdote first garnered attention after The Guardian reported on it, noting that Noem also wrote about killing a goat she claimed was "nasty and mean" and “loved to chase” Noem's children.
Noem has defended the decision to kill her dog, framing the story as an example of the grimmer aspects of farm life that sometimes have to be faced. She said she has "never passed on my responsibilities to anyone else to handle" and that she had simply "followed the law and was being a responsible parent, dog owner, and neighbor."
People loved Pritzker's response and mocked Noem themselves.

Shane, the host of the Therapuss podcast, recently appeared on ABC News Live to promote his Broadway debut in All Out: Comedy About Ambition.
The interview included journalist Will Ganss asking him a "speed round" of questions. Among them was what he'd do if he could swap bodies with Broadway legend Sutton Foster for a single day.
His response was so hilariously truthful it had to be bleeped during the live broadcast.
The questions included queries about all kinds of Broadway lore, but when it came to what Ganss called a "Freaky Friday" moment with Foster, there was one detail Shane didn't know.
He asked Ganss:
"Who is she married to right now?"
Foster, who was previously married to fellow Broadway star Christian Borle from 2006–2009 and filed for divorced from screenwriter Ted Griffin in October 2024, has been dating Hollywood star Hugh Jackman.
And upon hearing this news, Shane immediately had his answer for "the first thing you would do" if he body-swapped with Foster.
"Yeah, I'd probably f**k Hugh Jackman. I'd have intercourse with Hugh Jackman."
