American singer/rapper Lizzo bid a fond adieu and closed out 2021 by eating an Oreo cookie with mustard on it.

Because that was the kind of year 2021 was when not a whole lot seemed to make any sense.

Over the years, the "Truth Hurts" singer has amassed over 20 million followers on her TikTok page where she posts content ranging from a NSFW reason for missing the VMAs to thought-provoking messages about her struggles with mental health.

Recently, Lizzo decided to jump on a viral video trend involving putting yellow mustard on an Oreo and consuming it.

The title of the challenge speaks for itself.

“Tiktok made me try mustard & oreos," wrote Lizzo and attached a clip of her demonstration.

Some people say chocolate and peanut butter go well together, as does salt on a slice of lemon.

But mustard on Oreos may leave others gagging at the thought.

Not so with Lizzo, who was up for the challenge in spite of claiming TikTok somehow convinced her to try it. She took one bite out of her experiment and didn't have an immediate reaction.

She didn't offer any insight as to whether she liked or disliked it But instead of having the dry heaves, she let the flavor combo of the condiment and America's favorite snack sink in before reaching for the bottle of mustard again for round two.

This time, however, she disassembled the two cookie halves of the Oreo and squeezed a generous serving of mustard on top of the Oreo's sweetened cream filling.

She put the two halves together again and then bit down.

You could almost hear the internet collectively begging her to abort.

Lizzo is no stranger to putting mustard on things that should never require it.

In June, the singer squeezed some of the yellow stuff on slices of watermelon and ate them for another trending TikTok challenge.

"I don't understand," she said at the time before proceeding to grab the bottle of mustard to try it again, just as she did with this unsavory challenge.

Kyrsten Sinema And Joe Manchin Give Dems And Labor Unions The Middle Finger With Vote

Outgoing Independent senators Kyrsten Sinema (Arizona) and Joe Manchin (West Virginia) gave Democrats and labor unions the middle finger by siding with Republicans to oppose confirming President Joe Biden's renomination of Lauren McFerran for the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), which will let President-elect Donald Trump seize control of the board next year.

NLRB is the federal agency responsible for safeguarding employees’ workplace rights. Sinema and Manchin's decisive “no” votes doomed the nomination, as all Senate Republicans also opposed it. Only one of their votes was needed to secure McFerran’s confirmation.
