Garbage Man Furious After Rescuing Three Helpless Kittens From His Truck's Trash Compactor

Garbage Man Furious After Rescuing Three Helpless Kittens From His Truck's Trash Compactor

As much as none of us want to believe it, we all know deep down that some people have no respect for animals.

That includes respect for their rights and their lives.

One garbage man, Terry, or @turboterry77, was, unfortunately, able to confirm this when he rescued not one, not two, but three young, defenseless kittens from a trash bag he had already thrown into the trash compactor while he was on his route.

Terry later reported that he had discovered the kittens when he was actually sitting in his driver's seat, and he could hear a strange sound coming from the back.

He explained:

"It's hard to explain, but it was like a smoke detector if the smoke detector was underwater."

Things you find in garbage! That you shouldn't find in garbage!!Found a total of 3! 😡#catrescue #savethekitten #kittensaved #rescued #rescueanimals #rescuekitten #rescuecat

He went to the back to check and saw one of the trash bags was moving. He ripped it open to discover an orange kitten, who he held close and placed on his front passenger seat of the truck. He then went to the back to see if there were more when he found a solid gray kitten, who he reunited with its sibling.

Returning to the back of the truck again, he could still hear a muffled sound from somewhere, so he proceeded to pull many bags from the back, ripping them open in the street, looking for the kitten. He had nearly reached the bottom before he found the last of three kittens.

After being bathed, all three kittens turned out to be orange and white. Two of them were predominantly orange with white accents, while the third was almost entirely white with a few orange markings. They had been so dirty, the solid gray kitten Terry found was almost all white.

Terry soon posted a follow-up video, which showed three adorable, clean, and bright-eyed kittens, despite the journey they'd gone through. They had already been placed in a foster home where they were receiving lots of love and were already on their way to a healthy, happy life.

The kittens have also been lovingly named Ginger, Cinnamon, and Clover.

part 2!! There was l a total of three kittens. They are all doing well! I would like to thank everybody for the love and support you have shown. Gives me hope that there is still humanity out there with all your support!! Much Love to you all!#rescuecat #rescuekitten #rescueanimals #rescued #kittensaved #savethekitten #catrescue

Terry later shared one more, longer video in which he explained how he found the kittens and how things were going at their foster home.

In addition to loving foster parents, Ginger, Cinnamon, and Clover had also been taken in by a loving cat mom, who had kittens of her own that were approximately the same age, and she quickly started treating them like her own.

Terry expressed how overwhelmed he was by the outpouring of love he had seen, and even monetary donations, which he would be forwarding to the animal rescue in the area.

But Terry also pointed out the hard truth about this situation: Though these kittens received a happy ending, there were likely many kittens, puppies, and other animals who received a much harsher fate, if not ultimately death.

Terry explained:

"Unfortunately this happens a lot. Not many times are they heard to be saved."
"Sometimes it's on purpose. Sometimes it’s an accident. Sometimes you’ll just never know what the situation was."

It's heart-wrenching to think of how many animals could have been saved or were thrown away by people who didn't want them.

All we can really do is save the ones we can, care for them and love them, and provide them the medical care they need, including but not limited to shots, good food, and yes, preventative care.

People Who Smashed Wedding Cake In Their Spouse's Face Reveal How Their Relationship Is Going Now

According to The Knot wedding resource magazine and website, smashing cake into the face of a spouse after tying the knot is a tradition tied to medieval England. To celebrate the marriage, the bride would toss a piece of piece of cake over her shoulder for good luck.

This evolved into newlyweds feeding a piece of cake to one another, then taking frosting or a small bit of cake and rubbing it gently onto each other's faces—usually the cheek or tip of the nose.

The Obamas Just Shared A Rare Family Photo With Their Adult Daughters To Celebrate Sasha's Birthday

Former President Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama warmed hearts when they shared the same photo to their respective social media accounts, showing them with their adult daughters, Sasha and Malia, to commemorate Sasha's 24th birthday.

Sasha Obama was born in June 2001, nearly eight years before the family moved into the White House at the start of her father's first term in January 2009. She and her older sister, Malia, now 26, spent their formative years in the presidential residence, growing up there throughout their father’s two terms, until the family departed in 2017.

The term malaphor means when two or more colloquial phrases or idioms get confused and combined to create something nonsensical. According to the National Institute of Health (NIH), malaphors are a common symptom of frontotemporal dementia or other cognitive impairments.

So when a person seeks to accuse someone of being unintelligent, their use of malaphors is ironic and possibly very telling—narcissists will always accuse others of their own faults and failures.
