Another day, another reason for the internet to drag Republican Texas Senator Ted Cruz to filth.

In a year so far chock full of draggable moments for Cruz, he has now given the internet a whole new reason to blow raspberries in his direction: He is considering running for president again in 2024 because, he says, his 2016 run was "fun."

Cruz made the statement during an interview, seen below, on far-right news network Newsmax.

Asked by Newsmax host Tom Basile about his plans for 2024, Ted Cruz actually said:

"I'm certainly looking at it. I'll tell you, 2016 was the most fun I've ever had in my life."

Aside from the lack of policy motivations, calling the 2016 campaign "the most fun I've ever had in my life" is downright strange coming out of Ted Cruz's mouth.

Though Cruz seems to remember it differently, his 2016 presidential campaign had three major highlights, all coming courtesy of former Republican President Donald Trump.

Trump baselessly--and preposterously--accused Cruz's father of being involved in the assassination of Democratic President John F. Kennedy in 1963.

Then, he called Cruz's wife Heidi Cruz ugly, tweeting an unflattering photo of her next to a photo of his own wife, former First Lady Melania Trump, with the caption "A picture is worth a thousand words."

And as if that weren't enough, Trump then coined the nickname, "Lyin' Ted," which stuck for the rest of the campaign. Sounds like quite the barrel of laughs! Of course none of this stopped Cruz from immediately becoming one of Trump's most ardent supporters once he won the election.

On Twitter, people were basically like, "LOLWAT" about this oblivious comment of Cruz's, and dragged him to filth.

Cruz went on to cite as his true motivation for running for office in 2024 the supposed "incredible threat [Democratic President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are] posing to our liberty." He of course did not specify the nature of said threat.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
