Joe Rogan And Elon Musk Roasted For Bonkers Robin Hood-Style Bet On Rogan's Podcast

Rogan bet Musk $1 that he could shoot an arrow Robin Hood-style through a Tesla CyberTruck—and the whole stunt left X users rolling their eyes.

Podcaster Joe Rogan and Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk are being roasted online after a conversation between the two on Rogan's "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast.

The two chatted about Tesla's new CyberTruck, the bizarrely shaped metal car that looks like something out of a dystopian sci-fi movie, and how indestructible it supposedly is.

The truck is supposed to be bulletproof—perfect for Musk's core fanbase of conspiracy-addled weirdos—and to prove it, Rogan bet Musk $1 he could pierce it with an arrow.

Arrows not being anything remotely like bullets, and bows not having anywhere near the power of a gun, Rogan of course lost the bet. The arrow did apparently spark when it hit the metal, which even the most skeptical must admit is pretty cool.

That said, Musk did admit that an arrow shot by a crossbow "might get it through," which makes you wonder about his definition of "bulletproof."

Musk has claimed that the CyberTruck is impervious to "almost all subsonic particles," which sounds like high-tech wizardry, but it turns out it doesn't mean much, because only a tiny fraction of gun rounds actually move at subsonic speeds.

Unsurprisingly, the internet was not at all impressed with this updated version of a you-know-what measuring contest, and Rogan and Musk have become quite the punching bags on the side of Twitter that isn't composed entirely of their fanboys.

The mockery of Rogan and Musk came hot and heavy, playing on Robin Hood and other historical bow-and-arrow battle themes.

Anyway, that's the latest on what the ever-fascinating Joe Rogan and Elon Musk are up to.

Brooke Shields Has Hilarious Reaction After She's Given Awkwardly Short Chair On 'Today' Show

People who have not performed in front of a live audience might assume that adequate rehearsal time and production planning ensure things will go smoothly.

But seasoned performers will tell you that mistakes happen, no matter how well-rehearsed or fine-tuned the project is. When the mistake is obvious enough that the audience becomes aware of it, the best thing to do is laugh it off or incorporate the mistake into the program as much as possible to keep the show going.
