TikToker Claps Back In Hilariously Shady Fashion After Getting Notice Her Rent Is Increasing

Tenant knows exactly where their notice of rent increase should go, and it's not the trash

TikToker @turbosl*t666 reacted to the news of her rent increase with a mini tour of her home's kitchen.

We can all agree that rental and home purchasing prices have gone up far too high, especially since the pandemic.

But it's especially bad for those who have had to dip below the bar just to be able to afford somewhere to live. When the price of a home or rent was too high in their area, some people have had to sacrifice favorite home features, characteristics that would be deal-breakers under better financial conditions, and even safety features.

It was so bad for one TikToker in Australia, however, that it likely would be better if she moved instead of stayed.

"Perfect Princess Girl," or @turbosl*t666 on TikTok, recently received a notice that the rent on her questionable unit would be going up at the start of her renewed agreement.

And the TikToker decided that she knew exactly where this notice should go, and it was not to the garbage.

Instead, she repeatedly states that she will "just put it in the cupboard" as she approaches her kitchen. Once there, she observes three cabinet doors before opening the one off to the far right.

Inside is a standard two-shelf cabinet, except this one is full of mold and moisture. The condition is so terrible, the shelves are spotted, the back of the cabinet is bubbling up, and the shelf in the middle is visibly decomposing.

After giving viewers adequate time to look at the shelf, the TikToker confirms:

"Yeah, maybe on the, yeah, I'll pop it on the bottom shelf."

As she bends to place the notice in the cabinet, black mold, old insulation, and rot come into view, and she considerately places the notice on the cleanest part of the bottom shelf before closing the door behind her.

does anyone else hate when this happens 🤣💯⁉️ #rentalcrisis #landlordspecial #rentingisascam xx

Though she made no mention of the living conditions of her home, the rest of TikTok had no problem noticing.

Some were thoroughly repulsed by the conditions of their fellow TikToker's home.

Though it's harder than ever to find a place that we can afford to rent or buy, there are situations where we honestly have no other choice than to find a way to move on and find a safer place to live.

It was obvious that this had not been attended to in a very long time, and with her reaction being to put her renter's notice in such a problematic place, it was clear that her landlords were not attending to her needs when asked.

Dr. Oz Slammed After His 'Credit Card' Health Care Analogy Goes Completely Off The Rails

Snake oil salesman Dr. Mehmet Oz—now the administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services—was criticized after he tried to discuss U.S. health insurance providers' pledge to speed up the prior authorization process by oddly comparing it to a "credit card," underscoring just how much he doesn't understand the job he currently holds.

Earlier this week, major U.S. health insurers—including Cigna, Aetna, Humana, and UnitedHealthcare—announced a set of reforms aimed at simplifying the often frustrating prior authorization process for patients and providers.

Jon Ossoff Lays Into Project 2025 Architect For Trying To Gut The CDC In Fiery Takedown

Georgia Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff criticized Project 2025 architect and current Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought during a Senate appropriations hearing for the Trump administration's austere spending cuts that are currently focused on slashing the budget and workforce of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Ossoff pressed Russell Vought on the administration’s decision to cut the agency’s budget by nearly half and on the loss of roughly 25% of its workforce.

Jasmine Crockett Calls Out Trump's Hypocrisy By Pointing Out How Melania Got Her Visa

Texas Democratic Representative Jasmine Crockett pointed out President Donald Trump's hypocrisy on immigration considering how First Lady Melania Trump's pathway to citizenship was possible because she received an "Einstein visa," which is usually reserved for an individual with "some sort of significant achievement."

Speaking during a House Judiciary Committee hearing titled “Restoring Integrity and Security to the Visa Process,” Crockett noted that “the idea that Trump and my Republican colleagues want to restore integrity and security in the visa process is actually a joke," and harshly criticized the Trump administration's immigration crackdown and visa restrictions.

Fox Host Comes To Reporter's Defense After Pete Hegseth Berates Her At Pentagon Briefing

Fox News' chief political analyst Brit Hume came to the defense of Fox national security reporter Jennifer Griffin after their former colleague, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, criticized Griffin as the reporter "who misrepresents the most intentionally what the president says” in a Pentagon news conference.

Hegseth, a former Fox News anchor, had criticized media outlets—including his former network—for what he described as unpatriotic reporting. Hegseth took particular aim at early intelligence assessments suggesting that President Donald Trump's bombing of Iran may not have significantly crippled Iran’s nuclear capabilities.
