President's Day is here, and if you're looking to find out if banks are open or closed, look no further.

Most banks will be closed on Presidents' Day. According to banks.org, Presidents' Day is one of ten holidays that the Federal Reserve observes each year. Many banks and credit unions follow the Federal Reserve bank by shutting down as well.

National and regional banks will be closed today, including all major financial service corporations and investment banks and lenders, like Capital One, PNC, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, CitiBank, Chase, and Barclays, reports banks.org. According to USA Today, TD Bank will be open on Presidents' Day.

Even though a teller will likely not be available at your local bank, you should still have access to ATMs. You also have the ability to deposit checks through mobile apps. Bills paid today will likely not be effective. Transactions will be posted, instead, on Tuesday, February 20th.

USPS will not be open today, but FedEx and UPS will run on their regular schedules.

If you're looking to shop, you're in luck. Most department stores will be operating during regular store hours. Many are also offering Presidents' Day sales. Fortune reports that Best Buy is offering a 35% discount on most major appliances and free shipping on items over $399.

Overstock is also offering a great deal with up to 70% off, and free shipping for purchases over $45. Target, too, is offering online-only deals. Fortune recommends using the code 'GEORGE' to get 30% off home items.

As for schools, USA Today reports that while most public schools will be closed in observance of the holiday, many private schools will be shut as well.

When's the next federal holiday to look forward to? Memorial Day will fall on May 28.

Savannah Guthrie Opens Up About What She Tells Her Kids Amid Her Mom's Disappearance In Emotional 'Today' Clip

Some say that parenting is an impossible job, with an unending list of decisions and possible missteps, but parenting might feel uniquely impossible to someone in Savannah Guthrie's position.

Guthrie's mother, 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, went missing from her home at the end of January. Her absence was first noted when she did not appear at church service that Sunday. One of her doors was discovered ajar and a single image of a blurry figure was caught on camera, and there's been no sign of her or her whereabouts since.
