Newsmax Anchor's Bizarre Story Warning About Dangers Of Weed Has People Scratching Their Heads

Newsmax Anchor's Bizarre Story Warning About Dangers Of Weed Has People Scratching Their Heads
Newsmax

Right-wing outlet Newsmax anchor Grey Kelly, like many far-right conservatives, is known to be quite critical of marijuana usage.

But if Kelly's claims are to be believed, his distaste comes from personal experience.

On Wednesday, March 31, Kelly shareda story on Twitter of how he tried weed once in Kentucky and "woke up" four days later in Nairobi, Kenya.

He tweeted:

"SMOKING WEED (aka GRASS) is NOT a good idea. I've tried it (back in the day) and it was WORSE than anything that happened to HUNTER BIDEN."
"I 'toked up' with some buddies in Kentucky and woke up 4 days later in Nairobi, Kenya. With no idea what happened."
"DON'T DO DRUGS."

Of course, pretty much everyone on the internet was ready to point out to Kelly whatever he smoked definitely wasn't just marijuana.

Most people assumed Kelly was simply making up the story to scare his conservative audience.

There were some on Twitter who wanted to get their hands on Kelly's weed, the strongest strain they'd ever heard of.

What possible explanation could there be for Kelly getting slightly high, losing consciousness for four days and ending up in Kenya?

And how did he get a passport and make it onto a plane and through customs?

Kelly was born in 1968, so "back in the day" would be the 1980s or early 90s.

Airport security wasn't that lax even then.

Of course, Newsmax anchors aren't generally known for their honesty and reliance on the facts.

Someone keep an eye on Greg Kelly—it's impossible to know why he supposedly ended up in Kenya "back in the day," but there's no telling when it might happen again.

While a person's wedding day is meant to be a celebration of their love and starting a new life with their partner, it's also important to remember the life they're leaving "behind," specifically the household that raised them.

In a video that's gone viral multiple times before, a Chinese father presents his daughter, who is about to be married, with a bowl of dumplings. He then selects one dumpling and feeds it to her, as a reminder of how he raised her and symbolizing that this is the last time he'll take care of her before she becomes a married woman.
