Obama's Former Photographer Perfectly Trolled Donald Trump With Pictures of How a Real President Celebrates July 4th

If you didn't already miss him.

President Donald Trump's long-sought Fourth of July celebration—featuring military tanks, flyovers, and perks for Trump campaign donors—finally came to fruition with his July 4th "Salute to America" event.

Former White House photographer for President Barack Obama, Pete Souza, is no stranger to trolling Trump, which he routinely does simply by posting photos of President Obama on Instagram to draw the stark contrast between Obama and the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

And this Fourth of July was no different, as Souza proved with photos taken of former President Obama celebrating the nation's independence when he was president.

Including:

"July 4, 2009: Watching the fireworks from the roof of the White House."

"July 4, 2012: Greeting military families on the South Lawn of the White House."

"July 4, 2010: Uncle Sam."

"July 4, 2013: Listening to the Marine Band before making remarks to military families."

People couldn't help but draw contrast to that of Donald Trump's.

And everyone made it clear how much they missed the Obamas.

Thank you, Mr. Souza, for capturing these moments.

You can purchase Pete Souza's book of photos comparing President Obama to Donald Trump, Shade: A Tale of Two Presidents, here.

MAGA Influencer Charlie Kirk Called Out After Blaming DEI For High Death Toll In Texas Flooding Disaster

Turning Point USA founder and MAGA influencer Charlie Kirk was harshly criticized after he claimed the death toll in the flash floods that have devastated central Texas "would not have been as high if it wasn't for DEI," ridiculously suggesting that principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion were responsible.

Kirk's comments are reflective of President Donald Trump’s broader push to dismantle federal programs focused on diversity and inclusion—part of what he pledged in his inaugural address would be a campaign to stop attempts to “socially engineer race and gender into every aspect of public and private life.”
