Not a good look.

After a disastrous press conference followed by a bumbling Fox News interview, Mick Mulvaney's position as President Donald Trump's Chief of Staff is more tenuous than ever.

The President is reportedly considering Presidential Counsellor and staunch Trump defender Kellyanne Conway to replace him.

Washington Examiner reporter Caitlin Yilek, while reporting the story, mentioned Conway's husband—Conservative lawyer George Conway—who frequently tweets criticisms of the President. Trump has attacked George Conway on Twitter as well, calling him a "stone cold LOSER & husband from hell!"

Kellyanne Conway took huge issue with Yilek describing her as having "been in the middle" of her husband's and her boss's biting critiques of each other.

She made her beef known when she called Yilek, criticizing her for mentioning George Conway before berating Yilek.

Listen below.

During the seven minute conversation, Conway sarcastically said Yilek was "really going places," before calling her a lazy reporter.

Conway accused Yilek of characterizing her feelings, to which Yilek responded, "I don’t know that that is characterizing your feelings to say you are put in the middle if your husband and your boss are attacking each other."

Conway later threatened to investigate Yilek's personal life:

"So, listen, if you’re going to cover my personal life, if you’re going to cover my personal life, then we’re welcome to do the same around here. If it has nothing to do with my job, which it doesn’t, that’s obvious, then we’re either going to expect you to cover everybody’s personal life or we’re going to start covering them over here."

Journalists on Twitter were buzzing about the exchange.

Neither Kellyanne or George Conway have yet to weigh in.

The Clintons Scorch GOP Rep. While Refusing To Testify On Epstein In Mic Drop Letter

Former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton criticized House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer in a letter explaining why they would not be appearing for their deposition on Tuesday as part of an investigation into the late financier, sex-trafficker and pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

President Clinton has not been accused of any wrongdoing related to Epstein, though he maintained a well-documented friendship with him during the 1990s and early 2000s. Republicans have repeatedly focused on that relationship as part of their broader effort to control the narrative and demands surrounding a comprehensive accounting of Epstein’s crimes.
