Natural Light's' Search For 'Natty-Qualified' Intern Is A Beer Lover's Dream Job

Natural Light launched a campaign to find an intern possessing unique qualifications beyond that of a traditional academic resume.

Are you "Natty-Qualified?"

If you want a 9 to 5 desk job, this position is not for you. Natty Light is seeking those who are willing to do "Guerilla Marketing," product research and create "viral content" among other tasks to keep the brand well above the competition.

Natty Light, or Natural Light, is a reduced calorie pilsner brewed by Anheuser-Busch. Brand Manager Leon Solimani made a tongue-in-cheek recruitment video from their headquarters.

"Look, I am sick and tired of high-quality human beings being overlooked because they're not on the [air quotations] 'Dean's list,'" says Solimani in the video's introduction.

"Do we like awesome grades? Sure. But on top of that, we want an ambitious, scrappy trailblazer. We're running Natty Light, not your uncle's accounting firm."

Take a look at the 2-minute video below.

Local 10 outlined the job requirements.

Are you up to the task?

  • Attend various events as an ambassador of the brand
  • Create fire viral content across all Natural Light Social Channels
  • Keep the Brand Manager up to date on all trending trends
  • Guerilla Marketing. If you have to ask, you can't handle it.
  • Product research (yes, it's what you think it is)
  • Design some sick swag that gives consumers all the feels
  • Complete weekly vlog documenting the awesomeness on Twitter/Instagram/Facebook

The minimum qualifications are as follows.

FYI: being "cool" is one of them.

  • 21 years of age or older as of May 8, 2019
  • Be outgoing, but not annoying, there is a fine line
  • Be able to spell Protractor
  • Just be cool

Drinking on the job is a thing at the house of Natty Light.

Applications are flying in.

If you want to stand out from the rest, you must plead your case in a most unconventional way.

One declared war on other reputable companies.

There are other ways to impress Natty Light.

This applicant just fell flat.

The entry period is May 8th through the 19th, with the internship starting on June 10th and lasting until August 2nd.

If you are a Natty Light devotee who "topples traditional qualifications" you can submit your application online here.

Baseball Reporter Called Out After Asking For Woman's Number On Live TV

An Atlanta Braves sideline reporter is facing backlash after asking for a fan’s phone number during Monday night’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays.

During a mid-game segment, reporter Wiley Ballard spoke with two fans, Lauren and Kayla, who were hanging out on the Rogers Centre’s rooftop patio. After a few questions, Braves play-by-play announcer Brandon Gaudin joked on air that Ballard had “five innings, four innings to get the numbers.”

Someone Flew A 'Trump Country' Banner Over Bernie And AOC's Packed Rally—And AOC Clapped Back Hard

Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez had the perfect response after one of President Donald Trump's supporters flew a banner reading "Folsom Is Trump Country" over a Northern California rally she held with her colleague, Vermont Independent Senator Bernie Sanders.

She brushed off a warning that they were entering “Trump country” as the crowd swelled in deep-red Folsom, a Republican stronghold nestled in Representative Kevin Kiley’s district. Just to drive the point home, a small plane buzzed above the rally, trailing a banner in bold red letters: “Folsom Is Trump Country.”
