Trump claims he "could run" Mueller investigation if he wanted.

In a Fox News interview Presidential adviser Kellyanne Conway said she believes special counsel Robert Mueller should be investigating former F.B.I. director James Comey and his "silly book", A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership.

As the frenzy surrounding the Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen investigations was coming to a close, Presidential counselor Kellyanne Conway went on Fox News to discuss what she believes is a one-sided investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller.

Speaking to Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner, Conway touted President Trump's cooperation with the Mueller investigation so far, but chastised Mueller for running a one-sided investigation that ignored key figures who have been critical of the President.

"You had corrupt dealings all the way up the chain at the FBI," Conway said. "Jim Comey, and the shenanigans that he pulled in front of Congress and in his silly book."

Conway also named Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, and Bruce and Nellie Ohr as worthwhile targets for future investigations by Mueller.

According to Conway, President Trump feels that "it completely ridicules the system of justice if we're not looking at the other side of this investigation."

In a recent interview with Reuters the President also stated that he could "run" the Mueller investigation if he wanted.

"Now, I don't have to stay out," Trump told Reuters. "I can go in and I could do whatever. I could run it if I want. I'm totally allowed to be involved if I wanted to be. So far, I haven't chosen to be involved. I'll stay out."

As one of the President's most vocal advocates Conway has often come under fire for making questionable or inflammatory remarks. Many had trouble taking Conway seriously, believing the statement was an effort to deflect the bad press stemming from the Manafort and Cohen investigations.

Most were tired of Conway all together, believing previous statements had stripped her of all credibility.

Following the recent developments in the Manafort and Cohen investigations many felt Mueller would be unlikely to change the course of the investigation a this stage.

And with all signs pointing to Mueller's continued investigation of Trump and those around him some started wondering what the special counsel might learn about Conway.
