Melania Trump Hits Back At Critics Of Her New White House Tennis Pavillion By Reminding Everyone To 'Be Best'

Melania Trump Hits Back At Critics Of Her New White House Tennis Pavillion By Reminding Everyone To 'Be Best'

While many across the globe are focused on the spread of the COVID-19 virus, First Lady Melania Trump decided to share some good news.

On Thursday, March 5, Trump posted on her official FLOTUS Twitter account.

Along with some photos, Mrs. Trump shared:

"I am excited to share the progress of the Tennis Pavillion at [the White House]. Thank you to the talented team for their hard work and dedication."

But rather than the "ooos" and "ahhhhs" she expected, Trump's posts got mainly boos and hisses.

Many people invoked the name of Marie Antoinette.

After the backlash, the First Lady responded with another tweet.

But people quickly called out the apparent hypocrisy of the FLOTUS and her #BeBest campaign.

It appears neither the original tweet by President Trump's third wife nor her scolding of her critics had the desired affect.

Maybe instead of #BeBest, someone could be better.

Gavin Newsom Hilariously Dunks On Trump For Hosting The Kennedy Center Honors

California Governor Gavin Newsom trolled President Donald Trump by sharing an AI-generated photo of himself accepting the inaugural—and not real—"Kennedy Center peace prize" from Trump.

The photo accompanied a post in which Newsom mocked not just Trump but also Ric Grenell, the Kennedy Center's president, whom Newsom referred to as a "janitor" in a post that—like many of Newsom's past posts—is written in a style not unlike the rants Trump publishes on Truth Social.

Trump Completely Melts Down Over 'Low IQ Traitor' MTG's Sit-Down Interview With '60 Minutes'

President Donald Trump attacked Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene after his former ally-turned-nemesis criticized him in an interview with Lesley Stahl on Sunday's episode of 60 Minutes.

Greene told CBS that his inflammatory language “directly fueled” threats against her family, including an email asserting that a pipe bomb had been planted targeting her son.
