Lil Nas X Jokingly Claims He's 'Never Shopping' At Target Again After Seeing 'Ridiculous' T-Shirt

The musician trolled the conservative backlash against Target by feigning offense over a 'too cool for school' shirt.

Just a week ahead of Pride month, Target caved to conservative temper tantrums and moved LGBTQ+ merchandise to the back of their stores in many states.

Additionally, some of the retail giant's 2023 Pride collection was pulled completely from both the sales floor and the website amidst homophobic backlash.

But musician Lil Nas X just gave offended bigots a taste of their own medicine while simultaneously calling out their ridiculously immature behavior.

The rapper, who came out as gay in 2019, began his tweet by mirroring conservative sentiments:

"Can't believe Target is supporting this nonsense, I'm never shopping there again..."

But then he added the punchline:

"My son is not 'too cool for school.' These shirts are ridiculous."
"He is going to school and he WILL learn."

Viewers of the tweet applauded Lil Nas X's satirical rant.

And others followed suit, partaking of the mockery.

Of course, Lil Nas X is no stranger to trolling small minds, especially when the target is homosexuality.
